Where did the AMEGA button go?
May 15, 2010
by Dr. Bruggeman

I am very, very disappointed with the AMEGA Company. Not the wand itself. I have had success with it. But the company is so very unresponsive in so many ways. I simply do not have the time to help those of you who might want to buy the product, because ultimately we both run into the same problem—which is why you email or call me for help—the inability to get an order placed. The order process does not work. They don’t reply to my emails. Can’t get through to them on the phone. I’ve had it. This has been going on for several months. My patience with them is at an end. I am sorry to have raised your hopes and inconvenienced you. In retrospect, I should have waited to make sure the company not only had a good product, but was itself capable of handling the business end of things before I began promoting it. Lesson learned by this humbled one.

Confronting Saul, Fleeing Saul – Part 1 - MP3 format (40 MB)
Part of The Character Of Saul & David Series
Lecture #11 of 54, CD #393, Date of Lecture: October 21, 2001

Abstract: The evil spirit God sent to Saul causes the king to continue to threaten the life of David. David sets the example of forgiving one’s enemies that all aspiring overcomers must learn. Finally, in fear for his life, David flees to his home, where his wife, Michal, convinces him to escape. Even in flight, David displays more marks of his excellent character. Michal diverts David’s pursuers with subterfuge. There are several examples of is symbology in the details of Michal’s deception. Michal lies to her father, Saul. James offers scriptural examples of lies and how, perhaps because they were told in the interest of saving life, God apparently excused them.

Confronting Saul, Fleeing Saul – Part 2 - MP3 format (29 MB)
Part of The Character Of Saul & David Series
Lecture #12 of 54, CD #394, Date of Lecture: October 21, 2001

Abstract: Following Saul’s latest attempt on his life, David flees to Samuel. Saul sends two detachments of men to capture David, but they both prophesy. Saul goes to see for himself and prophesies also. Saul and his men apparently were in a trance state, as shown by other scriptural references. David escapes to visit Jonathan, who naively thinks his father means David no harm. Jonathan and David swear a covenant to each other and develop a code so that Jonathan can report Saul’s intentions. Saul attempts to kill Jonathan because of his questions about Saul’s intent to kill David. Jonathan reports to David and bids him go in peace. James closes with a question for each of us: Are you an egg, or a carrot, or a coffee bean?

David Eats Holy Pita Bread - MP3 format (39 MB)
Part of The Character Of Saul & David Series
Lecture #13 of 54, CD #395, Date of Lecture: November 11, 2001

Abstract: Escaping from Saul again, David goes to Nob and lies to the priest, Ahimelech, about why he is there. Was David an habitual liar in his youth? James detours to David’s Psalm 119, wherein David asks God to change his heart. Back in 1 Samuel 21, David demands Ahimelech feed him and his men with five loaves of “old” shewbread from the table in the Holy of Holies. James illustrates from Mark 2 and Matthew 12 that David did not sin by eating hallowed bread and explains the principle of the “higher Law.”

Saul’s Hatchet Man - MP3 format (37 MB)
Part of The Character Of Saul & David Series
Lecture #14 of 54, CD #396, Date of Lecture: November 11, 2001

Abstract: Doeg, the Edomite, Saul’s chief herdsman, overhears David and Ahimelech. David takes Goliath’s sword and moves on. After stops in Gath and Moab, the prophet Gad instructs David to go to Judah. Doeg informs on David and Ahimelech and, at Saul’s command, slays Ahimelech and a total of 85 priests and their families. Only Abiathar escapes and flees after David. David is brought to a painful realization due to his character flaws.

Overcomers In The Furnace – MP3 format (45 MB)
Part of The Character Of Saul & David Series
Lecture #15 of 54, CD #397, Date of Lecture: December 2001

Scripture: 1 Sam 23

Abstract: After receiving a “second witness” from Yahweh, David defeats the Philistines (meaning aliens, immigrants), who were robbing the threshingfloors of his brother Judahites at Keilah (key-law). Yahweh wanted David and his men to demonstrate the “key Law” (love) to their neighbors. James expounds in depth on the Law of witnesses. Saul discovers David is hemmed up in the walled city of Keilah and moves to attack. David consults Yahweh with the help of Abiathar, who possesses the high priest’s ephod. David leaves Keilah.

Overcomers In The Furnace – MP3 format (50 MB)
Part of The Character Of Saul & David Series
Lecture #16 of 54, CD #398, Date of Lecture: December 2001

Abstract: Jonathan and David execute another covenant that Jonathan will become second-in-command when David is king. David composed Psalm 54 about his disappointment in the Ziphites (smelters), who informed Saul of his whereabouts. David has the opportunity to slay Saul, but instead cuts a piece from Saul’s skirt. David regrets his action and calls after Saul to reason with him. Saul is remorseful and extracts an oath from David that David will not exterminate his progeny when David becomes king. The later execution of Saul’s seven sons does not violate David’s oath. Their deaths are symbolic of the death of the seven churches at the end of the Pentecostal age.

David, Abigail & Stone-cold Nabal - MP3 format (51 MB)
Part of The Character Of Saul & David Series
Lecture #17 of 54, CD #399, Date of Lecture: January 13, 2002

Abstract: Samuel’s death closes the era of the Judges. David meets Nabal (fool), whose wife is Abigail (my Father is joy). Nabal was as mean as a junkyard dog and refused hospitality to David and his men. David intends murder in response, but Abigail intervenes with gifts of food for David and his men. The food and quantities are symbolic of Pentecost in several ways. James takes the opportunity to offer dietary tips and a recommendation on his favorite figs (www.nutrafig.com). Abigail makes a compelling plea to David that he impute Nabal’s offense to her. God strikes Nabal dead and David takes Abigail to wife.

David’s Chance To Chuck A Spear At Saul - MP3 format (36 MB)
Part of The Character Of Saul & David Series
Lecture #18 of 54, CD #400, Date of Lecture: January 13, 2002

Abstract: For the second time, David refuses the chance to assassinate Saul. Instead, he takes Saul’s spear (symbol of power) and water jug (symbol of the Word of God). So also did Martin Luther and other leaders of the Protestant reformation take the authority (for a time) and the Bible away from the Roman church. David again pleads with Saul not to persecute him and again, Saul repents. David returns Saul’s spear, but not his water jug. David is not persuaded Saul intends to change. Even so, we today must remain in the wilderness until the Saul church is removed from the picture.

Saul Comes To The End Door – Part 1 MP3 format (35 MB)
Part of The Character Of Saul & David Series
Lecture #19 of 54, CD #401, Date of Lecture: February 10, 2002

Abstract: James reviews some of Saul’s negative character traits and identifies the one that prevented him from being an overcomer. Picking up the narrative in 1 Samuel 27, David suffers a crisis of faith and again flees with 600 men (imperfection) to Achish (terrifying, only a man) and the Philistines (flesh, the world) in Gath (winepress) for sanctuary. David lives for 16 (love) months among the enemies of Israel and then invades the nations to the south of Judah. To gain Achish’s favor, David leads the king of the Gathites to believe his attack was against his own Israeli kinsmen.

Saul Comes To The End Door – Part 2 - MP3 format (52 MB)
Part of The Character Of Saul & David Series
Lecture #20 of 54, CD #402, Date of Lecture: February 10, 2002

Abstract: David’s deception of Achish causes problems for him when the Philistines decide to invade Israel. Earlier in his reign, Saul had banned necromancers, but now, in fear and unable to hear God, he decides to consult one. The witch of Endor (fountain of life) summons what appears to be the spirit of Samuel for Saul. The spirit prophesies the defeat of Israel and the death of Saul and his sons. James shows how this story prophesies the coming end of the Saul church and mystery Babylon.
