Today was the monthly luncheon meeting of the Henderson County Republican Women’s Club. Men can be Associate Members. I have been a member for about six years and serve on the Legislation/Constitution Committee.
It is always a delight to be part of this very active GOP club. It was my turn to present a report of important legislation and/or court activities.
I gave my 11-minute report just before the featured speaker was introduced. She is Sandy Moyer (feature photo at top) and read more below. Because people are eating their lunch while I spoke (yet they were very attentive), they could not take many notes.
I told them I would post my entire remarks in my blog today and it would be available by 6 p.m. So here are is my presentation, and following that is more information and my remarks about Sandy Moyer.
Good afternoon, everyone! For this month’s Legislation & Constitution Report, I have bad news and I have good news.
In one sentence, the bad news is that the American republic has fallen so far from its original intent that the enemies of the republic have not only been at the gate, but for many decades have been swarming into America to destroy it from within, all done with the help of powerful people who want to bring down the USA to merge us into a global government where all nations are equal at a third world level.
The good news is that more and more citizens are awakening to these facts, and we are influencing our fellow citizens to make our voices heard in Raleigh and in Washington. Further and thankfully, some freedom-loving legislators are hearing and acting Constitutionally.
I should note that we are proud of the work that Chuck Edwards, Tim Moffitt, Jennifer Balkcom, and Jake Johnson are doing, but since Theresa Edwards is a member of this very committee and we do hear regularly from our federal and state Congress persons; therefore, I am omitting reporting on the fine work they are doing.
Of course, all of us here recognize the ongoing crises that erupted into insanity during the Biden administration, and we also note the good news that we finally have a man in the White House who is taking the necessary actions to reverse course by deportations, tariffs, etc.
However, we also note that President Trump’s actions are beset by all manner of opposition. When the Leftists can do nothing else, they call in their sleeper-judges on the benches of many courts in this nation. They then ignore the Constitution and forbid the Trump administration from deporting illegals.
That is one of a host of reasons why our midterm elections are so very critical; that we increase our majorities in both houses of Congress in order to be able to impeach and remove the radical Leftist judges, so that convictions of evil doers can be accomplished in courts.
Meanwhile, also on the good news side is a bill just introduced this past Monday by Rep. Chip Roy of Texas. Listen to the full and official short title: {slowly} It is the Measures Against Marxism’s Dangerous Adherents and Noxious Islamists Act of 2026.
Of course, unlike the Democrats, who lie through their teeth when they name their bills, our people tell the truth when giving a title to a piece of legislation.
But even that short title is a bit long, and so it was conveniently and deliberately designed to be called by its acronym, the MAMDANI Act. Here are a few details from Chip Roy’s office:
The MAMDANI Act enacts sweeping immigration law changes that would deport, denaturalize, deny U.S. citizenship, or entry to any alien who is a member of a socialist party, a communist party, the Chinese Communist Party, or Islamic fundamentalist party, or [who] advocates for socialism, communism, Marxism, or Islamic fundamentalism.
Additionally, this legislation creates new definitions for each of these terms and repeals existing loopholes, including chain migration and fraudulent claims, in current immigration law that have facilitated the mass importation of Marxists and Islamists.
Congressman Roy stated: QUOTE Why do we continue to import people who hate us? Not just for the last six years, but for the last 60 years, our immigration system has been cynically used to disadvantage American workers’ competitiveness in favor of mass-importing the third world.
This has not just led to higher crime and lower wages, but also the promulgation of hostile ideologies fundamentally opposed to American values.
By targeting the Red-Green Alliance, this legislation deploys new tools to fight back against the Marxist and Islamist advance that has devastated Europe and has now arrived on our doorstep, especially in my home state of Texas. END QUOTE
In noting their support for the bill, the Immigration Accountability Project said, “Admission to the United States is a privilege, not a right. We have absolutely no obligation to open our doors to aliens who seek to undermine the Constitution, dismantle our republic, or champion ideologies fundamentally opposed to American liberties. A sovereign nation must prioritize its own survival and the safety of its citizens above all else.”
As noted, Chip Roy’s bill would eliminate chain migration and so-called “anchor babies.” We are now awaiting a decision from the Supreme Court on that very important issue, also known as birthright citizenship.
It rests heavily upon a correct historical understanding of the 14th Amendment. I do expect we will hear that decision before the Court’s summer recess if not before.
Frankly, I am not confident of the correct outcome, but this is all the more reason why a bill like Chip Roy’s, if turned into law by Congress, can nullify a Supreme Court decision. Contrary to what many believe, the Constitution gives Congress the last word, not the Supreme Court.
Did you know that 10% of all births are now anchor babies of illegals? Then, there are the “tourism babies” primarily of the estimated 100,000 Chinese who came to American territory just to have a baby.
The Chinese then go back and raise that “American citizen” baby in China, and in twenty years or less, they will send them back to vote and eventually to hold office in America.
Both China and Islam play the very long game. If our people had been properly taught world history and civics we would all know that the Western world has been a target of Muslim conquest since before the Battle of Tours in France in 732 A.D., when Charles Martel halted Islam’s progress.
A similar bill was introduced a few weeks ago by Tennessee Representative Andy Ogles. This bill deals primarily, not with illegal immigration, but with America’s broken legal immigration policies.
Andy Ogles presented a broad immigration overhaul bill called the Assimilation Act. It is aimed at repealing the 1965 Hart-Celler Immigration Act and ending the scam of family-based “chain migration.”
Ogles’ bill, H.R.7964, would eliminate the diversity visa lottery and abolish the H1-B visa program which Ogles called a scam.
Rep. Ogles has frequently criticized the Hart-Cellar Act, which he says enabled “third-world migration” and the “Islamification of America.” Representative Ogles has been blunt and bold by asserting that “America and Islam are incompatible,” and further that “Muslims don’t belong in American society.”
Not surprisingly, the Democrats have offered a censure resolution accusing Rep. Ogles of “spewing hatred and bigotry toward Muslim Americans.”
Again, if we do not learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it. From the founding of Islam, the Moslems have tried to conquer Europe with military armies equipped with swords and bows and arrows, and in the siege of Constantinople in 1453, cannons and gunpowder weapons were added to the wars.
The fall of the Constantinople eliminated what was once a powerful defense for Christian Europe against Moslem invasion, allowing for uninterrupted Ottoman-Muslim expansion into eastern Europe.
Presently in America there are about 4.5 million Muslims. I know some, and so do you, and they seem like genuinely peaceful and nice people. And they will be…until they have reached the point of critical mass where they will have sufficient numbers to elect or cheat to install Muslims into political office.
It is not a military invasion at this time. It is infiltration from within. We need look no further than Dearborn, Michigan; or the huge, planned Islamic residential development north of Dallas, or Mayor Mamdani in New York City.
But if we do look across the pond in England—London in particular—we see how the Muslims are well on their way to total control.
Those of us who see this threat to our God-given freedoms are then labeled as Islamophobes. But what does that word mean? It means fear of Islam. I suggest that as we understand the history of the past one thousand three hundred years, we have very sound reasons to be fearful of Islam.
But we should not be intimidated or let that fear paralyze us into apathy. Rather, we should let that reasonable fear motivate us to work as hard as we can, first to know the positive spiritual and cultural values we hold dear, and to then to promote them in all our political activities, so help us, God!
Time will not permit me to discuss either the 350,000 Haitians just granted another continuance of their Temporary Protected Status—it’s been temporary for 16 years now.
Nor do we have time to discuss the wonderful news that the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has just been indicted for fraud by the Justice Department [lots of cheers from audience], thanks to the work of Kash Patel and the FBI. That one is very personal to me, but there is not time for me to share that now.
By the way, I will post the text of this report on my website by this evening. Find it at StoneKingdom.org. Thank you for listening.
Regarding the very personal reasons why I am elated about the indictment of the SPLC, I thought I recalled writing a brief blog about them last year, but it was actually the November issue of my monthly print publication, Feed My Sheep (FMS).
And since I just finished re-reading that, I realize that I need to also tell the prelude story of my treatment by the SPLC and its fallout upon my family from a local church. All that is far too much material for one blog, so I will commence retelling that story in this space tomorrow.
Now, concerning Sandy Moyer and her address to the HCRWC today, here is some information about who she is and why she was here—a six to seven hour drive from her home near the NC coast. (Taken from the Club’s promo flier. QUOTE:)
Sandy is Chair of the North Carolina chapter and Southeastern Regional Director for the Republican National Hispanic Assembly (RNHA). Fluent in both English and Spanish, Sandy has used her bilingual skills to translate documents and provide counseling and advocacy to individuals and families in need. Her passion for service and education also inspired her to run for a position on the local school board.

RNHA is where she has significantly expanded membership and chapters in NC. She also serves as Chair of the Coalition Building Subcommittee for the National Republican Women’s Federation (NRWF), is a member of the NCGOP Platform Committee, and serves on the Pitt County GOP Executive Committee. END QUOTE
Mrs. Moyer brought her two daughters with her. She began by relating how she was born in NY City, but largely grew up in the Dominican Republic. She always yearned to come back to America, but when she returned to NYC, she was appalled and disappointed to see how much it had deteriorated, which—we presume—is one reason she came to NC.
She homeschooled her children for ten years and is a woman with a strong Christian faith. As she observed the nation being destroyed by the Left, she felt led of God to do what she could to help set America back on the paths of righteousness (my words).
She noticed how the platform and principles of the Republican Party are in many ways simply the application of biblical principles. So she became active in the GOP, as noted above.
In her closing remarks she gave a number of pointers on how we (a mostly white audience) could reach out to the Hispanic community to show them they would feel at home in the GOP. Hispanics are very much aligned with the GOP principles—very pro-God, family and freedom, she noted; but many of them just don’t know it.
It was an inspiring presentation and I let her know when I spoke with her afterwards. I began by telling her that I could agree with only 100 percent of what she said 😉. She smiled and graciously complimented me on my talk.
I told her how my wife had also homeschooled our children back in the 1980-90s. To which she immediately responded that it was probably illegal then? Yes, I said, My wife was a pioneer, just as you also are doing now in bringing Hispanics into the GOP to help restore righteousness in America.
Very specifically, I praised Sandy for her statement that she sees the Republican Party as a vehicle for her and all Christians to work towards the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of heaven. I added that her perspective and motivation is exactly why I myself am also active in the GOP.
Politics is downstream from culture, and culture is downstream from a nation’s religious beliefs. Hence, returning to Rep. Andy Ogle’s bold proclamation above: “America and Islam are incompatible.”
I believe my memory is correct that she made a comment in agreement with that. Frankly, any Christian who does not see that either does not understand true Christianity or the Islamic religion or both. At some point, I shall commence a series on how and why they are fundamentally opposite. (More “lost” history forthcoming from this platform.)
Sandy Moyer is a serious Christian and her joy as she labors for the Lord were quite evident. Thank you, Sandy, for your diligent work and may our Father in heaven bless you and yours mightily!
