Avoid the Pain With Natural Prevention

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish [pray] above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Being called decades ago to start a ministry called Stone Kingdom Ministries, I have always been keenly aware of the word “stone” in its many varied usages.

Quite varied, as in reference not only to the Stone which becomes a great nation/kingdom and eventually, under Christ Jesus, covers the whole earth (Daniel, chapter 2); but also, stones as in gemstones and other precious stones.

Then there are ordinary stones as in used in concrete, stones as in paving stones for sidewalks, driveways, etc.; stones as in housing and other structures made of stone.

There are stones as in monuments (e.g., Stonehenge, the Great Pyramid, and other ancient megalithic structures, etc.), and unfortunately for me, this connection with “stones” has included suffering the pain of gall stones or kidney stones.

(I am not suggesting that there is any causation factor; that is, just because I have a ministry called Stone Kingdom that therefore, it was inevitable that I would be afflicted with kidney stones or gall stones; not saying that at all.)

Whenever we come across information that we believe might be of benefit to you and your health, we are happy to share it with you. Mr. Will, one of our eastern seaboard correspondents, first alerted us to this some weeks ago. Thanks, Will!

As our veteran readers are well aware, I had a severe case of gall stones in 2023 whereby the blockage caused by a big stone necessitated the removal of my gall bladder. But even with the gall bladder out, that does not mean one cannot have gall stones. Because gall stones actually originate in the liver, and thus I had an even more severe blockage in the bile duct in 2025 necessitating surgery the next day.

Back in 1989-90 (can’t remember exactly), I had an excruciating bout of pain lasting several days, which I self-diagnosed as kidney stones. I was at a men’s Bible retreat conference out west. I asked for the elders present to lay hands on me and pray like there’s no tomorrow. They did.

But the Father declined to give me an “easy out” at that time. When I got home, with Roxanne’s help, we created and I used a traditional home remedy which took a day to “kick in,” and I have never had that problem since then.

(But I cannot find that recipe now, and even if I found it, I am not sure I would recommend it because the natural substance is now adulterated on the grocery store shelves so that the natural ingredient might be very difficult-to-impossible to find; namely, pure borax.)

But I can tell you that, for me, both kidney stones and gall stones can cause severe pain (and be life-threatening). So when Will sent me the following simple recipe he had discovered for preventing kidney stones, I thought I would give it a try.

I have had no symptoms of kidney stones, but looking at the ingredients in what is labeled a “kidney cleanse,” they are all natural food substances, and although some might think it sounds “yucky,” I did not find it unpleasant at all.

I did it faithfully every morning for seven days, and what did I notice? Nothing at all. Which I would suppose is not unexpected; after all, it is said to be a preventative and a cleanse. I intend to do that simple routine semi-annually or maybe quarterly; it is so simple. Cheers!
