One of our reliable researchers sent me an X post yesterday. In the post, the CDC supposedly stated something honest about vaccines and autism. Even though Bobby Kennedy is not in overall charge of the CDC, I was skeptical and replied to my friend that it looked fishy to me.
I informed him that I had gone to the CDC website and searched for “vaccines and autism,” and here is all I could find, QUOTE:
Research does not show any link between thimerosal in vaccines and autism, a neurodevelopmental disorder. Many well conducted studies have concluded that thimerosal in vaccines does not contribute to the development of autism. Even after thimerosal was removed from almost all childhood vaccines, autism rates continued to increase, which is the opposite of what would be expected if thimerosal caused autism. END QUOTE
That post on the CDC website was dated October 28, 2025. I do have confidence in what Bobby is doing at HHS, but I know that it takes time for getting the right people in place at the multitude of sprawling bureaucracies under the HHS umbrella, but I was sad that the X post looked like dis- or misinformation.
Later yesterday, our researcher replied with this direct link to the place on the CDC website where it indeed says the following, as shown in this screen grab:
Now you know why I refer to this good friend as an “indefatigable” investigator/researcher. I am much obliged. I stand corrected—er, in this case, I sit corrected…at my keyboard.
But I was still puzzled why I could not find it when I searched for it. Perhaps it was because in the hyperlink to the word “autism” in the quotation above, it says that “the page you are looking for has moved.” So I am chalking that up to me being caught in the midst yesterday of the CDC reorganizing their website. In any case, I am thrilled to see that under Bobby, things are changing for the better quickly!
