Conference Update—Happy Spring Equinox!

Today is the first day of spring and there are less than two weeks before our Passover-Resurrection Bible Conference. For all the details, click on the blue banner at the top of the home page which will take you to a page listing all the blogs which have important details about the Conference.

Please do contact me [James@StoneKingdom.org] if you are planning to attend, regardless of whether you will be staying at the Embassy Suites or not. I need to give the hotel a number soon so they know how to set up our meeting space.

Some have inquired about a schedule of when which particular speakers will be on stage. We have no schedule. I have had none ever since one of our first conferences in Philadelphia, ca. 1999.

On Sunday evening after that conference ended I had a severe migraine headache—the only one I recall ever having had in my life. I deduced it was caused by self-imposed stress by trying to “herd cats” to keep everything precisely as the pre-printed schedule had detailed…and it was detailed! …Wholly unnecessary for our types of conferences, I then concluded.

Since then, I have always alerted the speakers at our conferences to be ready on very short notice to go up front and commence their teaching. This not only greatly reduces stress but also allows great flexibility when last minute changes occur.

I have already noted that we will have the Lord’s Supper/communion service on Friday to coincide with what we passed on to readers in our blog dated February 24th.

Rob & Dena Corry have agreed to conduct this service, which will probably occur in the mid- to late-afternoon just before we adjourn for dinner break.

We are hoping and praying that Juan O Savin (accompanied by his wife, Jennifer Mac) will be able to attend and for Juan to speak at the Conference. However, given Juan’s eventful and globe-trotting schedule, if indeed they are able to make it, we shall be prepared to hear from him at the “last minute.”

If that transpires, that also will necessarily entail me shifting any tentative schedule I may have had in my mind in order to accommodate this very special guest speaker.

The stage is still open for any who may wish to bless the attendees with one or more praise and worship song(s). If you have your own music track to accompany your vocal, our audio engineer, Kevin O’Connell, will be there to assist you in set-up.

If you wish to bless the attendees with praise and worship, please do contact myself by email [James@StoneKingdom.org] and also advise Daniel Galbraith [DanielG70@pm.me] since he is coordinating any music/singing volunteers.

As previously noted, we will not have live-streaming; I am “philosophically” (professionally, fundamentally) opposed to doing live-streaming. However, we will be audio and video recording all speakers, except Mr. 107, which will be audio recorded only.

The recordings will then undergo post-production editing and we shall announce here and in our monthly Feed My Sheep postal mailing when the recordings are available.

Come join us; bless and be blessed!

P.S. Unrelated, but to help us begin this weekend with some mirth…enjoy these. 😊

And finally, here is how to get in shape... 😎
