I have been ill since this last Monday, July 7th, with some kind of digestive food issue. I haven’t experienced vomiting or diarrhea, just persistent pain in my digestive tract. I’ve been eating minimally or fasting since last Monday, with what I thought was slow improvement throughout the week. I ate a light supper last night and was unable to sleep at all as the pain got very serious and I could not lay down comfortably. This morning I went to the ER as the would not subside.
They are going to admit me and the diagnosis at this point is elevated liver enzymes and inflammation of the pancreas we will try to keep you updated. I expect to be in the hospital probably through Wednesday. We shall have to cancel our SKF meetings in Tennessee and Georgia this weekend.
Please keep me in your prayers as we determine the cause of this digestive disruption. I hope to post updates (or have Jesse post them) on my situation as it unfolds.
