Last night, President Trump and First Lady Melania attended a showing of Les Misérables at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (KCPA) in Washington, D.C. It was also a fund-raiser for the historic venue.
Shortly after his second inauguration, DJT fired members of the Board of Trustees, assumed the role of Chairman of the Board, and appointed Richard Grenell as President of the KCPA.
Of course, the radical Leftists are screaming “bloody murder” at the changes being made. However, and as POTUS noted, the place has been sliding downhill fast both in lack of maintenance and upkeep as well as in revenue to make the KCPA profitable or to at least break even.
Under Leftist domination, the once-prestigious Center has been polluted with anti-American and anti-Christian performances of all sorts. As noted by Katherine Hamilton writing in Breitbart News, QUOTE:

But I did not always consider it sacrilegious. You see, I was very much “into” music—both contemporary (rock) and classical—until marriage, children, and making a living caused me to have more important priorities.
The last album I bought was probably ca. the late-1970s. I had purchased the Jesus Christ Superstar album ca. 1972 because I greatly appreciated the music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, not because I liked or even understood the lyrics by Tim Rice.
Back in those days, the lyrics as sung were usually very difficult to understand. Not all artists followed the Beatles when they put the lyrics on their Sgt. Pepper album in 1967. If Webber and Rice did with JCS—I don’t recall—but those were my heathen days, and I didn’t pay much attention to the lyrics.
Now, as I just minutes ago read the synopsis of the rock opera in the Wikipedia account, I am appalled and it is definitely sacrilegious.
For example, “Jesus shares a Passover meal with his disciples, where they get drunk and pay little attention to him. He remarks that ‘for all you care’ the wine they are drinking could be his blood and the bread his body.”
That is mild compared with the treatment of other Bible truths.
So, as the previous management of the KPCA would “check the box” that they also present “Christian-themed” shows, well, that is transparently a slap in the face to sincere Christians. We see you wicked ones, you sons of Belial!
Now, President Trump is making big changes, both to give the building a facelift structurally, and to make it truly a place Americans can be proud of. As Ms. Hamilton wrote, QUOTE:

It comes after a week’s worth of events celebrating LGBTQ+ rights ahead of the World Pride festival in Washington, D.C. were canceled. END QUOTE
Hurray! It is gratifying to see those who “majored in” cancel culture are now having their “woke” culture cancelled. It reminds us of this description of our Father’s instructions to those who dismantle Mystery Babylon.

There have been plenty of anti-Trump performers who have chafed at the president taking an active role at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, D.C.’s premier cultural venue, including some whose opposition resulted in the cancellation of a performance of the hit musical “Hamilton.”
[Good! That “hit musical” was/is an abomination also. It glorifies Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. But now a legendary Tony-winning Broadway actress is resorting to violent language, saying the facility now “should get blown up.”
In February, Trump took action to “dewokify” the Kennedy Center, posting to Truth Social:
“I have decided to immediately terminate multiple individuals from the Board of Trustees, including the Chairman, who do not share our Vision for a Golden Age in Arts and Culture. We will soon announce a new Board, with an amazing Chairman, DONALD J. TRUMP!
Just last year, the Kennedy Center featured Drag Shows specifically targeting our youth — THIS WILL STOP. The Kennedy Center is an American Jewel, and must reflect the brightest STARS on its stage from all across our Nation. For the Kennedy Center, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”

One would think that Trump’s vision for the Kennedy Center puts KCPA President Richard Grenell in an uncomfortable position since he is openly homosexual. He served as Trump’s ambassador to Germany and then as Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) for Trump in 2020.
The ODNI is supposed to be the office through which all the 16 other agencies are supposed to funnel their intelligence briefings, reports, etc. Time will tell if Tulsi Gabbard, formerly a Democrat, now the newly-appointed, Senate-approved DNI will be able to drain the swamp in that position, and assist the heads of the other 16 agencies/departments to do the same. The CIA will be one of the toughest, we suspect.
Trump has also brought into his administration Scott Bessent who is also open about his homosexuality. Trump obviously sees the remarkable administrative, financial, and media-savvy skills which these two men possess. Bessent is especially adroit and impressive as we have observed him on the fake news several times “schooling” their Leftist “reporters” (propagandists).
Let us turn to the Scriptures to see which path President Trump will ultimately follow. First is this account of the Asa, one of the few good kings of the Judah kingdom. He reigned circa 912-871 B.C.
1 Kings 15: 8 And Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead.
9 And in the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel reigned Asa over Judah.
10 And forty and one years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom.
11 And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD [Yahweh], as did David his father.
12 And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
13 And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.
14 But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa’s heart was perfect with the LORD [Yahweh] all his days.
Regarding another of the good men from the line of David who ruled over the Judah kingdom, we find King Hezekiah. He reigned ca. 726-697 B.C.
2 Kings 18:3 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD [Yahweh], according to all that David his father did.
4 He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, [In other words, King Hezekiah destroyed all the places of idolatry in the nation! It seems to me that the Kennedy Center has been one of those places.] and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.
5 He trusted in the LORD [Yahweh] God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him.
6 For he clave to the LORD [Yahweh], and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD [Yahweh] commanded Moses.
The last example we will cite is of the partly-good king Amaziah, who reigned over the southern Kingdom of Judah ca. 820-774. Easton’s Bible Dictionary states that…
“He was the first to employ a mercenary army of 100,000 Israelite soldiers, which he did in his attempt to bring the Edomites again under the yoke of Judah (2Ch 25:5,6)
“He was commanded by a prophet of the Lord to send back the mercenaries, which he did (2Ch 25:7-10,13) much to their annoyance. His obedience to this command was followed by a decisive victory over the Edomites (2Ch 25:14-16)
“Amaziah began to worship some of the idols he took from the Edomites, and this was his ruin, for he was vanquished by Joash, king of Israel, whom he challenged to battle.”
2 Chronicles 25:1 Amaziah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.
2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD [Yahweh], but not with a perfect heart.
3 Now it came to pass, when the kingdom was established to him, that he slew his servants that had killed the king his father.
4 But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD [Yahweh] commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.
Comparing the record of these three kings, we see that they all did much good for the nation, cleansing the land (draining the swamp?), but not all of them could accomplish the work for the nation completely.
Our Father-God sees the intents of the heart, and thus the Word tells us which of them had his heart right—even though he might not have been able to completely cleanse the land of the Baal/Moloch worshippers and the sodomites.
It is quite clear to this observer that President Trump is doing his best to rid the nation of the worst criminals whether they be lowly, as in criminal aliens, or those inhabiting the highest places in the land—the central bankers. Trump, like Pres. Jackson in the early 1800s intends to drive them out also.
We pray daily for God to be with him, to protect him, his family, and all the white hats seeking righteousness in the land.
