Yesterday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the State Department will “aggressively” revoke the visas of students from communist China who have connections to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) and/or those studying in “critical fields.”
My admiration and respect for Rubio has been increasing of late. I have a personal story to share in that regard.
Perhaps a dozen years ago, give or take, I enjoyed dinner with a young person who holds a PhD and who was deeply involved in research on human genetics. That person (whom I will call by the pseudonym, Chris, to protect his/her identity) told me about the boss who headed Chris’ research lab at a prestigious university medical school.
We will call that boss Dr. Li since I don’t recall his/her real name anyway. Li was from communist China and seemed aloof to Chris and Chris’ fellow researchers, but he/she did not seem necessarily unkind.
That changed, however, after he/she went back to China to visit family. For when Li returned, he/she was just downright mean, frequently (daily) losing his/her temper, yelling and shouting at the team and making unreasonable demands to get more results on the genetic research projects in which they were all engaged.
Chris shared his/her frustration at trying to work in those conditions. It’s like he/she snapped, Chris said. Dr. Li was not exactly friendly before he/she went home, but now since Li is back, he/she is almost impossible to work with.
May I suggest to you what is going on and which explains his/her behavior? I asked my friend. Chris nodded.
It is quite simple, I began. Dr. Li is a spy for the CCP. And I believe that most, if not all “students” in the US from communist China are likewise spies. They are sent here to lie, cheat, steal—in whatever way necessary, to obtain America’s high tech and scientific secrets and/or methods.
They are all sent here with orders to infiltrate any and all institutions and to report back to their handlers at regular intervals with results. When Dr. Li went home, he/she not only was allowed to visit his/her parents and other family members, but to see that they were under threat of very real punishments (including execution) if Dr. Li did not produce the results his/her CCP bosses demanded.
The poor guy/gal was evidently not pleasing his/her superiors. Li obviously was not providing them with enough usable scientific information from your lab and therefore he/she came back with a huge internal burden of stress and very real fear for his family back in China—a burden which Dr. Li could share with no one.
Chris did not believe me, but shortly thereafter, Chris left that job and found work elsewhere in his/her field.
I shared this story with another PhD friend (pseudonym: Terry) who had studied for a doctorate at the University of Miami, if memory serves. After I finished my story, Terry said that he/she agrees wholeheartedly with my conclusion.
We had many similar situations at the “U,” Terry said. He/she asserted that they (Terry and other doctoral candidates at that time—about 30+ years ago) thought it was so obvious that it was almost laughable, and that probably every one of the “students” from communist China were spies.
Well, here we are and finally, DJT and his team are taking aggressive action to remove the spies from our land. May God protect them as they root out America’s enemies.
From Fox News there is this article:
State Department says it will 'aggressively' revoke visas for Chinese students
Meanwhile, the USA Today showed clearly why they are among the “fake news” outlets. The fourth paragraph in their story is as follows with my emphasis:
QUOTE: The state department did not immediately respond to a request for comment on why Chinese students were being targeted, which areas of study were being considered crucial, and how many visas were expected to be revoked. END QUOTE
Really, USA Today!? Isn’t the reason obvious?
