The featured photo above was taken on April 8, 2009. A small contingent from those who attended our Conference at Manassas, Virginia were led to go to pray at the U. S. Capitol. Maureen (center) from across the Atlantic was moved to give some prophecies.
I and my team are working diligently to find a suitable venue for our anticipated Spring Bible Conference. Our hope is to be able to find one for the weekend of April 3-5, 2025. It is that which the world calls “Easter weekend.” We eschew that word, for reasons known to most of our readers, but if we have it at that time, it will be our Passover-Resurrection Conference.
At this point we still have about ten venues on the front burner. Not surprisingly, we will probably never see the room rates in the $109/night (Charlotte – 2019) or $119/night (Doubletree-MSP this past October) again.
So you might want to mark your calendars, since all ten above have availability for us on that weekend. I am trying to negotiate the lowest possible Group sleeping room rates, and ditto for the meeting space. We always tell them that many of our Group will arrive on Thursday evening and many stay Sunday night and check out on Monday morning. They almost always will give us the same low rates for Thursday night as well.
At this point our top contenders are in the Chattanooga (two venues) and the Nashville area (two venues there also), with Birmingham still in the running.
We shall keep you updated.
