Matthew 25:23 …Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
All reports about Charlie Kirk which we have heard over the years have praised his outstanding Christian character. People who knew him personally said he was never condescending or arrogant against those who disagreed with him.
Instead, he was kind, gentle, and yet persuasive as he moved many in a whole generation of young people towards righteousness in our nation and towards the righteousness found in Jesus Christ.
I heard him in an interview with either (can’t remember which) a Newsmax or Fox News host on Sept 9th, the day before he was murdered, in which Charlie was describing with delight how the Lord is moving in the revival occurring in Columbus as members of Ohio State’s football team are giving testimonies and helping bring others to Christ. Incidentally, the same thing happened a year ago, as I recall.
Kirk is a name of Scottish derivation and means “church.” Could Charlie’s death symbolize the end point of the death of the Pentecost-age church (from 33 A.D. until now) as we are moving into the age of Tabernacles?
Charlie Kirk was 31 years old, born in 1993. The first occurrence of the number 31 that I have been able to find in the KJV of the Bible is this.
Joshua 12:24 The king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty and one.
So 31 was the number of kings killed or conquered by the armies of Israel under Joshua as they were taking the Promised Land. Nevertheless, there was still much more land to be conquered, as the next verse reveals:
Joshua 13:1 Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD [Yahweh] said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
We are now in a war for the survival of our Christian-Israel nation, our latter-day Promised Land of America. But we must be “wise as serpents…”
As is probably the case with most or all of our readers, we are shocked and stunned and angry at this horrendous murder. That, along with the heinous murder of the young Ukrainian refugee woman (age 23), on the light rail train in Charlotte which has also been front and center in the news this past week (although it happened in late August) have tended to bring out anger and righteous indignation in ourselves.
However, we must not let our anger trigger us into foolish and stupid actions. These events are deliberate provocations on the part of the cabal to try to get Christians, conservatives, patriots, etc. to degenerate into physical violence. We must not take the bait.
As I spent many hours yesterday, until 1 a.m. this morning, watching news reports, I saw a clip on two separate programs wherein Charlie in a recent podcast was essentially saying the same thing. Paraphrasing, he said that we must not succumb to violence. Then he added that although we do not understand every action or position President Trump takes, we must trust him!
I trust in Jesus—as obviously Charlie did also—and I am certain he recognized the hand of God operating through DJT whom he knew well on a personal level. We are not privy to everything DJT knows and sometimes he must do things for optics and tactics that seem to us to be “the wrong thing.”
But again, let us trust in the Father and His Plan. I have said it before: Among the many types being fulfilled by Donald J. Trump are Moses and David. Neither man was perfect but they were ordained for their divine purposes.
Charlie Kirk was an angel. Angel can sometimes refer to a supernatural and sinless spiritual being. That applies to no human being.
But angel means “messenger” and is sometimes applied in reference to human beings who are called for special purposes. That was Charlie Kirk, messenger to millions.

He has now entered into his sleep until Jesus awakens him in the resurrection. Thank you for blessing us with Charlie, Father!
