About an hour before the call for “Riders, Up!” a began a text chat with one of our Texas correspondents. He opened by asking me, “Kentucky Derby [KD] thoughts? Renegade is the favorite.”
I suppose I should take a minute to explain for those in Carthagena, Ohio about sign language in the KD.
It began many years ago when our dear brother Ron Oja began sharing with us about the heavenly Father’s sign language. Once you begin to see it, it is all over creation, including sporting events. Ron once spoke about the Kentucky Derby for about an hour and the connection with Scripture and he was just getting started—far too much to try to squeeze in my blogging time frame today.
As equestrian enthusiasts know, the KD is the first of the Triple Crown seasonal horse races, followed by the Preakness and topped off by the Belmont Stakes. So we who observe these contests from a biblical “sign language” perspective are always excited to see what surprises the Father might have in store each year.
When our Texas friend asked me the aforementioned I admitted that I had not even turned it on yet, nor seen any names of the horses in the race. At the time that Renegade was the favorite, it looked like bad news since most of us know that it was the Secret Service code name/nickname for President Barack Hussein Obama. (They choose their own names. Hillary chose “Evergreen.”)
Next Texas Pat (as opposed to Texas Pete) told another horses with interesting names: Commandment was favored with the number one position—not advantageous historically, but strange things happen once “they’re off…”
Pat also mentioned Great White, Golden Tempo, Further Adieu, and So Happy. He further remarked that the MAGA crowd will go nuts if Renegade wins.
He commented that the cameras had just shown Great White and that he was massive and gray. (I had pictured a white horse, so obviously he was not named for his color.)
Nonetheless, I jested to Pat that if Great White were to win, the Leftist media will go (further) nuts, and claim “the race was rigged,…and … and… racist!”
Meanwhile, our friend Tim, from our Georgia SKF, began texting me also with the same query. I had no time to turn on the TV and still no program to study the names. Tim said he was going with Commandment, as that bespoke of Yahweh’s law.
As it turned out, Golden Tempo won. Immediately, the three of us came up with the sign/symbolism of that name—the Father gave us an easy one (but probably with many layers underneath, of which I remain ignorant).
Tempo is time, or the rhythm of time, the speed of time. Golden speaks of the Age of Tabernacles. We are now in the transition from the Age of Pentecost into the Golden Age of Tabernacles.
This Age will see (we believe, soon) the manifestation of the Sons of God into immortality and incorruptibility and they will rule and run under and with Jesus the King for the Millennial Age.
This was the 152nd running of the KD; therefore, next May will be the 153rd running. That will truly be one worth watching, since one of the key numbers in Bible gematria is 153 which translates to from the Hebrew into the sons of God. It is also connected to the 153 great fish caught by the disciples after the resurrection of our Savior in John 21.
John 21:10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead
Golden Tempo had actually been in last place early on in the KD. Meanwhile, Renegade got “pinched,” at the beginning, but made a great comeback, only to fall short at the finish line, being beat by Golden Tempo by a neck.
Curiously, the horses were ridden by a pair of brothers: Jockey Jose Ortiz on Golden Tempo, and Renegade ridden by his brother, Irad Ortiz Jr.
Golden Tempo was trained by a woman, Cherie DeVaux, the first time in KD history. That speaks of the equality of the sexes (spiritually speaking and before God’s eyes) as we enter the Golden Time of Tabernacles.
The odds for Golden Tempo were 23-1. Biblically, 23 is associated with death; thus we see that death is overcome in the Golden Age. Death is overcome by those in the first resurrection, and they are the firstfruits company, the Barley Company, of which we have written much (and are still not finished 😊). Eventually, death is swallowed up in victory for all in the ultimate consummation of the eons.
Those were our thoughts. I had just finished this and then checked email and found these “sign language” insights by several others which confirm the gleanings we had on Saturday, and add even more. Here they are, and thanks for those chiming in.
From Kim in New York state:
Golden Tempo wins, coming out of nowhere, dead last out of gate 19 (faith), ridden by Jose Ortiz (FORTUNATE JOSEPH), and coached by the first female trainer to ever win the KD, the second to ever win a TC race......the Golden Ceiling is broken! Jose beat his brother Irad Ortiz (FORTUNATE CRIMINAL) riding Renegade (Obama's secret service code name) who was the favorite to win! He came in second.
A sign of the First Resurrection right around the corner??? Jose--First Resurrection, then Irad--Second Resurrection! Praise God, Hallelujah! END QUOTE
And this from Larren in Texas. QUOTE: And the last shall be first!
19 Faith comes by Hearing
23 to 1 odds (death to resurrection)
152nd derby (2x76)
Golden Tempo (vibration) END QUOTE
And finally, this from Ray in South Dakota. QUOTE:
Thanks for your excellent Derby coverage Kim and for your interesting comments Larren.
Nothing to add other than to mention another possibly related event that also occurred in that same May 1 - 2 timeframe.
Spirit Airlines, so named in May of 1992 has gone down after 34 years. The number 34 is about identification. In this case identity with the good or bad side of the spirit realm.
Ephesians 6 sums up the bad side of the spirit realm quite well.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
The flip side to that is 30x4 = 120, a number associated with the Holy Spirit which is also about to fully come down. Its good news or bad news depending on which side of the spirit realm one identifies with.
Interesting also that Spirit Airlines going down first hit the news on Mayday which is known as a distress call. Again, there is a flip side as the Pilgrims came on the Mayflower in 1620.
And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
About two weeks ago I got a sense that the name Mayflower could be a clue, like a big bloom coming. END QUOTE
I am sure there is much more to be seen in this first leg of the Triple Crown this year, but that is all I have time to share today.
