Did you ever consider how the story of Gideon in the period of the Judges (ca. 1400-1000 B.C.) was so prophetic of this very era in which we live?!
At this point, we are still setting the stage for how Gideon and his band of 300 men delivered Israel from their captivity to the invaders of that day: the Midianites, the Amalekites, and the children of the east.
Since we are picking up in the middle of our stage-setting, we encourage new readers to start from the beginning of our teaching on the story of Gideon or at least, to read the preceding post, part 17.
We had not yet concluded our study of the invasion of Israel by foreigners, on just the single biblical point that the invaders are likened to grasshoppers or locusts.
We had just shown one way that the increase (our God-given wealth) is being destroyed in America. Let’s look at a second way, as we read this from a key verse in Judges, chapter 6.
Judges 6: 5 For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers [lit., locusts] for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.
6 And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites…
The KJV says “grasshoppers,” but nearly all other versions translate it as “locusts.” The “locusts” in the book of Joel shed more light on the prophetic use of the word.
Joel 1:1 The word of LORD [Yahweh] that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.
2 Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?
3 Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.
We get the idea that Joel is telling his listeners then and his readers today that this is prophetic because it goes on from generation to generation right on down the line. And what does Joel tell us to teach our children? He is showing the results of national disobedience to the divine law.
4 That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten.
For a better picture of what Joel is here describing, notice these bugs in the New King James (NKJ) version
NKJ Joel 1:4 What the chewing locust left, the swarming locust has eaten; What the swarming locust left, the crawling locust has eaten; And what the crawling locust left, the consuming locust has eaten.
This progression of locusts paints an appalling and disturbing picture of complete ruin, one layer of destruction after another. This is a metaphorical description of the economic ruination of a nation.
5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.
6 For a nation [not literal insects] is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.
Most Christians know that the lion was the tribal emblem of the tribe of Judah and the pre-eminent Lion is Christ our King. But the lion figure is also used in a negative sense.
Proverbs 28:15 As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
Ezekiel 22:25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets [ministers and teachers] in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Apply that to today how the aliens from nearly every nation on the planet have been invading our land. And we must include the enemies within; i.e., those who have been born here, have grown up here, and who are a “conspiracy of her prophets” in our pulpits (including the “pulpits” of television and especially now the “pulpits” called social media “podcasters” and “influencers”).
These lion-devils are in our schools from pre-school to the post-graduate level. Our institutions are all thoroughly infiltrated with proponents of anti-Christian ideas and philosophies. They are certainly in government at all levels and in great numbers.
For further identification of this army of locusts, let us go to Joel 2. After a long description of what this army is doing, God says:
Joel 2:20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
This is a long-range prophecy that is talking about America. In Joel’s era, the northern army was associated with Assyria, and a century later, the ascendant Babylonians. Today, we can see that prophetic Assyrians and Babylonians, aka the Mystery Babylonians, are being referenced here also.
But they are not necessarily located physically north of us in Canada (although Mystery Babylon rules there as well), but they are the enemy within that has brought the alien armies of locusts into our lands from all over the globe.
“Great things” at the end of verse 20 can be misunderstood. A better rendition would be “monstrous” things, as many awakening Americans are now learning of the human trafficking, child sacrifices, adrenochrome, and other abominations of the cabal.
After the enemy is taken care of, God says:
Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
So he’s talking here about alien hordes, which he describes as the various locusts. Some teachers have also suggested that the locusts can be identified with what we today would call bureaucrats.
Do they not “eat out our substance”? Thomas Jefferson described them in the Declaration of Independence: “He [King George III] has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.” President Trump and his Cabinet leaders are making substantial progress in removing thousands of regulations and generally downsizing the federal government.
The invasion of America by the locusts has been going on for many decades, and the floodgates were really opened in the mid-1960s. When I first delivered this study on Gideon in ca 1990-91, I quoted from a report called Youth Action News, published by C. B. Baker (whom I assumed was a man, but I could be wrong), and to which I had subscribed for many years. Here is what we saw about the alien invasion back then.
This report was called “The Great Immigration Conspiracy,” and this was from the mid-1980s as best I recall. He says QUOTE:
A war of conquest is now being waged against the United States and the American people by locust-like swarms of invading aliens. [C. B. Baker, as far as I know, does not know we are true Israel. Isn’t that interesting terminology then, right in his lead sentence? “Swarms of locust-like invading aliens.”]
Millions of third- and fourth-world enemy aliens are now occupying America with almost no opposition from U.S. government leaders. Within the United States, there is a massive anti-American conspiracy to support this alien conquest of our country. END QUOTE
We would expect that many of our readers are familiar with the Trilateral Commission. The spring 1981 issue of Trialogue, an official publication of the Trilateral Commission, discussed alien immigration into the United States. Baker wrote QUOTE:
The publication suggested that the U.S. government has no right to control aliens within its own borders. Trialogue stated, “Treatment of Latin American migrants should be negotiated with the governments of their respective countries. Differences between the migrants and U.S. authorities should be subject to international arbitration.”
Here’s the reason why they’re allowing, even desiring, the immigration into our country. The Trilateral-allied international bankers have made huge loans to Mexico and other Latin American countries. In order to maintain political stability in the nations receiving these loans, especially Mexico, the bankers have encouraged the debtor nations to export their surplus population to the United States. …
The August 1983 Natural History magazine strongly supported the Trilateralist pro-immigration position. An article titled “Human Waves” admitted that the full-scale alien invasion now taking place, “Never in recorded history have migration levels approached those of today.”
What is more natural than to expect the underprivileged regions to swarm across international and continental boundaries into better regions? Mexico’s current population of 75 million will surpass 175 million in less than 50 years.
If the current pattern of migration were to continue for a century, the former white majority would make up less than 50 percent of the population in the United States. END QUOTE
Well, that was a couple of years ago (mid-80s) and they’re optimistic…or pessimistic, depending on whose side you’re on.
Next, here is a TIME magazine from April 9th of this year [1990]. It is about America’s demographics. The cover story is “What will the U.S. be like when whites are no longer the majority?” It is subtitled “America’s Changing Colors” and let me just read a few of the section headlines in a couple of paragraphs.
One is called “Beyond the melting pot,” and of course it shows a big photograph, a two-page spread showing a bunch of children about 9, 10, 11 years-old, mostly non-white. I see two kids with blond hair and fair skin, that’s about it.
The rest are everything else under the sun which we are told we will see in the 21st century, and that’s not far off. “Racial and ethnic groups in the U.S. will outnumber whites for the first time. The browning of America will alter everything in society, from politics and education to industry, values, and culture.” [No kidding.]
“Already, one in four American defines himself or herself as Hispanic or non-white. If current trends in immigration and birth rates persist, the Hispanic population will have further increased an estimated 21 percent, the Asian presence about 22 percent, blacks almost 12 percent, and whites a little more than 2 percent by the end of the 20th century, 10 years from now.”
And they go on to say that “… by the year 2056, when someone born today will be only 66 years old, the average U.S. resident, as defined by census statistics, will trace his or her descent to Africa, Asia, the Hispanic world, the Pacific Islands, Arabia, almost anywhere but white Europe. [Italics mine.]
“While there may remain towns or outposts where even a black family will be something of an oddity, where English and Irish and German surnames will predominate, where a traditional, some will say wistfully, ‘a real American,’ will still be seen on almost every street corner, they will be only the vestiges of an earlier nation.
“The former majority [that’s us] will learn, as normal part of everyday life the meaning of the Latin slogan engraved on U.S. coins, “E pluribus unum, one formed from many.”
Well, I have news for them. I’ve known since my Latin class in high school what E pluribus unum means. Of course, it means “one out of many,” or “one from many,” but it does not refer to some melting pot of every color under the sun coming into this country and we all end up being one big happy family, because we are not, and we will never be that, God willing.
Or more recently, some describe 2025 America as a “salad bowl” of all ethnic groups who do not assimilate. Diversity is our strength—nonsense.
The E pluribus unum motto was put there by God through men, a committee of men. If you’ve ever heard the story of how the Great Seal came about, it was not credited to any man or even a group of men. It was God’s Providential hand that saw to it that this slogan was place on our Great Seal and coins.
E pluribus unum is referring to the regathering of the tribes of Israel, one nation out of the twelve tribes which have regathered here in this North American continent.
