Near the end of our Passover-Resurrection Bible Conference in Chattanooga we held a question and answer session. Earlier in the Conference I had informed the audience that the speakers are allotted a given amount of time and that if any questions arose in minds of listeners, to write them down and we would have the speakers answer as many as time would permit.
This worked out fairly well as it allowed me to prescreen them before the Q & A session. Given that all of us present are a part of the Body of Christ we did not expect and did not receive any “gotcha” questions.
But since anyone could freely attend the Conference, it was possible that not everyone present was part of the Body, so the prescreening was part of our precautions in case someone entered with evil intent. As the Lord ordained it, we had no such occurrences.
In explaining the parameters of the Q & A early on, I had jokingly but yet seriously discouraged the participants from asking any questions that are somewhat controversial in our circles and would only tend to create or exacerbate divisions among us.
This would include such topics as the flood of Noah, the sabbath issue, the satanic seed line issue, etc. Nonetheless, two people did try to sneak through some questions that we deemed wa-a-ay out there
They were clearly meant to get a jovial reaction from me, because both are close friends of mine. I have not had time to listen to this recording so in case I did not read these two questions in the session, here they are to get the Q & A session started with a bit of humor:
1. Does the Bible say the earth is flat? And is this one of the most important doctrines of our time? Surely, I need not comment on that… If we used this meme previously, we're sure there are some who have not seen it.
2. Do you believe NASA landed astronauts on the moon in 1969? Is this too controversial? Probably…
Rob and Dena Corry were not part of the panel since they had to depart before the Q & A, as did Daniel & Abigail Galbraith, so there is no video of this.
The processed audio recording “accidentally” turned out to be 8 seconds short of 1:07, who himself did not appear at our Conference…which we kind of expected (that he would not).
