Chapter 24: Occupy Socialism, Part 1

Mystery Babylon and the Stone Kingdom, part 67—Primer on God's Money System

Chapter 21 of this series was entitled The Rise of Financial Babylon, part 2. (Chapter 16 was part 1 of The Rise of Financial Babylon.) My last posted entry in this series was Chapter 21: Conspiracies in History.

Regular readers will recall that this past summer I interrupted the sequence to jump ahead to Chapters 22 & 23. Due to the riots and unrest occurring on the streets of many cities, it was the appropriate time to explain how the violence is planned and who controls it.

Therefore, I updated those lectures (Chapters 22 & 23) for the events occurring now in 2020. They had first been presented in 2011 and 2012 during the height of the Occupy Movement. They were entitled: Occupy Wall Street—Occupy Mystery Babylon! They were subtitled, part 2 of The Supremacy of Financial Babylon. (Don’t be too concerned about the various titles and subtitles at this point. I list them here to help myself keep them in order and not forget any parts of the series.)

Since, Chapters 22 and 23 are already posted, commencing with the post of July 6, 2020, I shall now pick up the story of Mystery Babylon and the Stone Kingdom with Chapter 24.

In my prior lectures, entitled: Occupy Wall Street, Occupy Mystery Babylon, we analyzed the current nationwide protest movement called Occupy Wall Street, which modifies its name according to the city where the protests are happening.

I noted that even my little city of Asheville, North Carolina, has its Occupy Asheville group. I also related the story of how I was invited and attended a meeting which some representatives of the Asheville Occupy movement held for the purpose of informing the local clergy of what they were doing and, of course, to enlist our support.

At this point, I want to continue with the theme of “occupying.” I am calling this lecture Occupy Socialism. We saw that much of the Occupy protests have concern about the economic inequality in our country.

The Occupiers frame the idea in their slogan “We are the 99%,” which contrasts the very wealthy and powerful 1% of Americans versus the rest of us who comprise the 99%.

It is a very clever slogan—don’t you think so?—because it gives people the impression that we all (well, at least 99% of us) have a lot in common with the Occupy movement. However, when we dissect what they really stand for and what their goals are, we find several interesting facts, which participants would want to know.

Number one: most of the Occupiers (at least, from my first-hand experience with the Asheville group and my observation of the news about them nationally) ...many, if not most of them, are probably compassionate and caring people who have become very concerned about the economic injustice they see in our country.

And who can disagree? There is great economic disparity in America.

Number two: the vast majority of the Occupiers are motivated to do something about it.

Number three: that same vast majority, including one of the local leaders in Asheville, have no idea what the solution is!

Number four: They do not realize they are being used as cannon fodder, or as the communist, terrorist dictator Lenin called them—they are useful idiots. That is what the people at the top think of the little people who do the protesting in the streets.

I do not consider them idiots. They are not stupid, but I see what Lenin meant. His goal, and that of the present generation of manipulators at the top, is to keep the little people in the dark about what the real goal is, while they suffer and sometimes die for a cause they have been manipulated to believe in.

Number five: this motley band of protestors is being used to stir up chaos, following the model of the Hegelian dialectic, which we can simplify as “pressure from above and pressure from below.” It results in drastic changes in our society with enormous losses of our freedoms of all sorts.

That process of the Hegelian dialectic had been happening at a turtle’s pace for over a century, but now it is speeding up drastically as the final showdown looms between the forces of good and the forces of evil, between the children of light and the children of darkness, between the Stone Kingdom of Jesus Christ and the system of Mystery Babylon.

This fact has become obvious to millions of Americans in this year of 2020 due to the alleged “pandemic.” And here we are, November 3, election day of 2020, which I believe history will record as having been a major turning point in the history of the world—for good or for evil!

Number six: There is probably not one in 10,000 of the Occupy protestors who are in-the-know that their strings are being pulled from the top, by the same, very filthy-rich individuals, such as George Soros, whom they think they are fighting against!

And number seven: While we are seeing a cool-down of the protests now in January (2012)—most likely due to the fact that freezing temperatures really discourage people from camping outside—I do expect we will see a resurgence of the protests come spring and into the summer months.

This is a presidential election year (2012), and it will be interesting to observe what happens in that regard. It is apparent to me that the stage is being set for something big. The financial system (that is, Mystery Babylon in its financial garb) seems to be on the verge of imploding.

Now, in early November 2020, we have seen President Trump take control of Mystery Babylon’s Federal Reserve System back in April and there has been scarcely a peep out of the controlled Lying Legacy Media about this fact.

I believe this is very hopeful sign. I know there are some who believe that Trump himself is part of the controlled opposition. I myself publicly voiced such a possibility in 2015. However, the actions (fruit) of this president have caused me to become a very strong supporter. If he is working for the cabal, he is doing a horrible job!

In this chapter, I want to take the time to elaborate on what the Bible has to say about occupying. In fact, Jesus Himself, had to a story to tell in that regard, and I think it is totally applicable to the Occupy Wall Street movement, and to all Christian believers today as well.

But let’s begin way back in the book of Exodus, chapter 38. This is after the children of Israel had been miraculously delivered out of slavery in Egypt and now God has given instructions on how to construct the Tabernacle in the wilderness along with all its appurtenances.

Exodus 38:24 All the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary

Here we have a form of the word occupy in our King James Version of the Bible and it is associated with gold. It seems clear that gold and silver have been used in some manner as money for a very long time.

Of course, one of the key passages of this entire series has to do with the dream of the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar in which he was shown a man with a head of gold. This signified that the Babylonian succession of empires right down through history until the 20th century would be characterized by the gold standard.

Gold is the head. Gold is supreme and all nations will bow down to it by the fact that their economies were to be tied to it.

Some Christians will have nothing to do with owning gold today because they believe it is evil or because in the book of Revelation it tells how presumably it will be so common in the kingdom of heaven at some point in the future that the streets will be paved with gold.

Well, that could conceivably literally come to pass, but I believe it is figurative language, as is most of the book of Revelation. The point I want to make here is that gold apparently was used as money alongside silver for centuries before Nebuchadnezzar instituted the so-called gold standard.

For example, we find this concerning our father, Abraham, and this was approximately twelve hundred years before the time of Daniel and King Nebuchadnezzar.

Genesis 13:2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

There are also passages in the book of Job which indicate that gold held a similar function even back then, and I believe the life of Job was centuries even before Abraham—not long after Genesis 10, chronologically speaking.

The point of showing you the use of gold, along with silver, as money many centuries before Babylon is that gold and silver are not intrinsically evil, not even when used as money. It depends upon how they are used as money; either righteously or unrighteously. God’s Word tells us what is righteous or unrighteous. We will get to some of that later.

If you know your modern American history, you know that in the 1930s President Franklin Roosevelt confiscated virtually all the gold from the American people and in the decades since then, our paper dollars have come to have no backing of precious metals whatsoever. Our coins, likewise, have been debased. It used to be that you could take a paper dollar into a bank and get actual gold or silver for it.

That is the main reason why our dollar has become so devalued. To give you a comparison, if we start with the year 1912—a century ago, just before the creation of the Federal Reserve System—and let the dollar have a purchasing power of 100 cents, then today that same dollar bill has a purchasing power of three cents!

In other words, the dollar has lost 97% of its value in one hundred years. Let’s split the difference and go to the year 1952 to give you comparisons of the cost of living to demonstrate how we have been robbed by the inflation of our currency.

In 1952, one could buy a decent, new home for around $9,000. Average rent was $80 per month. Bread was 16 cents a loaf, a movie ticket was 70 cents, gasoline was about 20 cents a gallon, and a first class postage stamp was 3 cents. So in just ballpark numbers, each of those categories has risen in price by a factor of ten-fold or more, 15-fold in the case of a home, or gasoline, postage and bread.

In 1952, the average income was $3,850. But that was with only one breadwinner. Today, the average income is well over ten times that amount, but it generally includes both mom and dad working outside the home, and are we ten times more wealthy in inflation-adjusted dollars than 1952? I don’t think so!

Oh, yes, we have more stuff, more gadgets, more electronic toys, we have greater creature comfort than in 1952, but the average American is in debt up to his eyeballs, and it is reflected in our federal government’s massive debt.

This has happened because we have a completely unjust, a totally unrighteous and ungodly economic system. It is the Babylonian system of money and economics. And because our people do not recognize it as such, the Bible calls it a mystery. Mystery, Babylon the great. It now rules over all the nations of the earth. Back to the word “occupy.” We find the word “occupy” also in Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 27:9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.

We will understand this better if we use the word “trade” in place of occupy. To trade or to do business is the basic definition of the Hebrew and Greek words translated as “occupy” in the King James Version. Again, like the words “gold” and “silver,” to occupy or trade or do business is a neutral word. One can do business and trade either honestly or dishonestly.

Before the rise of the modern banking system, in the days when gold and silver were used as the medium of exchange, they used balance scales to measure the weight of the gold or silver.

And I will explain this for the sake of younger people, many of whom probably have no idea how the exchange of money actually occurred during the centuries before the advent of iPhones and online banking.

Anyone who did business, anyone who traded would have had standardized weights with them in their pouch. They would pull out of their bag a standard weight (let’s say a ten-ounce weight) and they would put it on one side of the balance scale, and then they would stack up enough gold or silver in the scale on the plate on other side of the balance until the two sides were equal, until it balanced.

But a dishonest individual could cheat if the other trader did not have his pouch and weights with him, but simply relied on the other man. Because the dishonest man could pull out his false weight, the one that was labeled ten ounces but was actually 12 ounces and put it on the scale, and the honest man would be stacking up 12 ounces of silver or gold instead of 10 to pay for the merchandise. Thus we find in God’s law this statute concerning a godly economic system.

Deuteronomy 25:13 Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.

14 Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.

15 But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD [Yahweh] thy God.

If you notice in verse 15, there is a blessing attached with obedience to this statute of His law. It says that our days will be lengthened. How does that come about? Well, there is probably more to that blessing than this, but even if we just think about it from a crime standpoint, we can see that when dishonesty occurs in business transactions, at some point, the one cheated can take it no more.

He reaches a breaking point and then he goes out and kills the cheater. Then he may or may not find himself executed for murdering the cheater.

The Babylonian system breeds crime and death. His days were cut off; his days were not lengthened. God’s economic system blesses the people and the nation. Proverbs 16:11 says: A just weight and balance are the LORD’S: all the weights of the bag are his work.

There are three key principles which undergird God’s laws for economics and none of them has to do with whether or not one uses gold or silver for money, as the medium of exchange.
