Barley in the Bible, part 12
This is a continuation of our series of messages which we have collectively entitled: “Barley in the Bible.” As with the previous message regarding the Seven Sons of Saul who were hanged on the first day of the barley harvest, this study will not be primarily about barley per se.
Instead, we are using the barley theme as a jump-off point to examine a particular Bible story and to try to draw out from it some truths which we can apply to our lives today. This story is found in Jeremiah, chapter 41. It concerns the Babylonian captivity. Here’s the verse where we find barley mentioned:
Jeremiah 41:8 But ten men were found among them that said unto Ishmael, Slay us not: for we have treasures in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he forbare, and slew them not among their brethren.
To set the stage for the story, as the Babylonians had conquered the land of Judah, and had begun to deport them to Babylon, a local Israelite-Judahite governor was appointed by the Babylonians to rule over those still remaining in the land.
Wouldn’t that make the Judahite governor nothing but a mere a puppet then? Yes, there is no question about it. Now let us go back to the beginning of the story.
Jeremiah 41:1 Now it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, and the princes of the king, even ten men with him, came unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread together in Mizpah.
Who’s who here? First, we have Ismael, son of Nethaniah. Zedekiah had been the last king of the Judah kingdom. When the Babylonians invaded, they killed the two sons of Zedekiah so that there would be no heirs to the throne—or so they thought.
The Babylonian soldiers dug out the eyes of King Zedekiah and took him in chains to Babylon. He was blind until the day he died in the Babylonian prison. Evidently, there were some relatives of Zedekiah here at Mizpah because verse 1 mentions Ishmael being “of the seed royal,” and that Ishmael had ten “princes” who sided with him.
But Gedaliah had already been appointed as the puppet ruler for the Babylonian conquerors.
2 Then arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men that were with him, and smote Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword, and slew him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land.
3 Ishmael also slew all the Jews [Judahites] that were with him, even with Gedaliah, at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans [Babylonians] that were found there, and the men of war.
A political assassination has occurred here. We have a Judahite-Israelite here named Ishmael who is so consumed with anger and fury at the loss of his country to the Babylonians that he lashes out at “their system” by assassinating the puppet governor ... and some Babylonian officials and soldiers along with him.
Today we, God’s Israel people,1 are again in captivity, this time under a world-ruling system known in the Bible as Mystery Babylon (MB), that is, it is known to a tiny portion of Christians as Mystery Babylon. To the rest of Christianity and to the world MB is unknown. That is why it is called a mystery.
It is a world-ruling system. We likewise have a “governor” over us, a puppet for the rulers of Mystery Babylon. We call him a president, and the current one is named George H. W. Bush. From everything I have heard and read, George Bush is an Israelite by physical ancestry, not Jewish, but of Germanic stock.
Now in 2025, I still stand by that surmise concerning his ancestry despite the amazing information we intend to share with this audience not too many weeks hence: a series on the Bush family.
Red pilled readers will no doubt agree that the Bush family are RINOs to the hilt. They are phony conservatives, and while they are quite high in the hierarchy of MB, they are still servants of the same. More to come in that series.
Nevertheless, G.H.W. Bush has been appointed by Mystery Babylon to rule over us Israelites in our captivity. Many Americans in the past five years have come to realize that our elections have been rigged for a long time.
Notice how this puppet characterization of mine is supported by the quotation below of some attendees at one of the annual secret meetings of some of the leading globalist leaders.
If the idea that we are in captivity and George Bush is a puppet sounds rather strange to some readers, we would encourage them to do some homework in the alternative media. These days there are numerous websites and podcasts, but we must always be discerning with our critical thinking faculties fully charged.
Before the days of the ubiquitous internet, we had to rely upon independent news sources. One that I found generally reliable in decades past was a weekly paper from Washington, D. C. called the Spotlight.
Back in 1988 or 89, I had the opportunity with several other brethren to visit for several hours with Lois Peterson and to meet Vince Ryan, the latter then the editor of the Spotlight.
Here is an excerpt from the Spotlight about a group called the Bilderbergers. Most of you in this audience probably have some familiarity with the Bilderberg group, the Trilateral Commission, and the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). These are groups which are part of the shadow world-government.
The Spotlight reporter—from whose article I will quote in a minute—has been able to infiltrate to some degree and get into the very highly-guarded, secret conferences that the Bilderbergers hold each year at some posh resort location around the world.
At these secretive conclaves, they determine the general policies of what the political rulers are going to be doing in the near and perhaps the distant future. So here is a report from very recently, the last week in May [1991]. They met on Glenn Cove, Long Island, New York this year. The Spotlight reports that these Bilderbergers…QUOTE:
... also gave Vice President Dan Quayle an earful of tax-hype propaganda when he arrived on May 11th for his first-ever meeting with this secretive wing of the world shadow government. They also talked of how the United States would be chastised at the Economic Summit of the seven leading industrialized nations in June.
There, all global economic problems are to be blamed on the U.S. budget deficit. And calls for tax hikes are to be the centerpiece of international demands on the United States.
Bilderberg participants also spoke confidently about how the President would maintain expensive, long range nuclear missiles and the immensely profitable Strategic Defense Initiative, (SDI; i.e., Star Wars) during his summit in Washington with Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev at the end of this month.
Like their brother organization, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberg group discovered the issue of environmental deterioration. In other words, those who were born into fortunes measured in the billions of dollars, thanks to ancestors who raped the environment in the oil and smokestack industries, these globalists embraced the Trilateral report on the environment because the potential profit from cleaning up the mess is immense.
Bilderberg men strongly prefer dramatic increases in the federal income tax but recognize the political difficulties this would cause Bush, who, as a member of the Trilateral Commission, is one of their own.
“George will do all right on the environment. He has to buck a bit now for the sake of the right wing,” said a tall, lean and gray-haired Bilderberg participant inside the Harrison Conference Center.
“Whether the money comes through the world bank or otherwise, the United States will pay its share for global, environmental clean-up,” responded the dark-haired man of medium build of about 50 years.
“About a world war for the environment, George will have to do some grandstanding about U.S. spending money right now,” said the gray-haired man, “and you know why, don’t you?”
“Yes, he is going to raise taxes in some ways; something we have wanted for a long time,” said the dark-haired man. “He will have enough problems from the right on that. We have gotten the word on that.” [Remember, Bush had campaigned on the slogan, “Read my lips; no new taxes!”]
David Rockefeller is the dominant force in the Trilateral Commission, while he shares power with the Rothschild banking family and the European financial moguls in the older Bilderberg group. Both groups meet each spring to plan global strategy. Now why don’t we know about this? END QUOTE
Well, the news black-out on their nefarious machinations is a result of the direct collaboration of the Washington Post and the New York Times. As usual, both papers were represented at the meetings by high officials of their respective publishing empires.
Yes, these are the movers and shakers that attend the meeting, but you don’t hear a peep out of the kept prostitute press about it. The rest of the national media take their cues, their uniform slants and spins from the Post and the Times. I, myself, was indoctrinated with that “rule” while I was a senior in the journalism school at the Ohio State University in 1975.
But this is what is going on behind the scenes and why I say George Bush is merely the local governor for the Babylonian world government.
In Jeremiah 41 the Judahite-Israelites are living in the period known as the Babylonian Captivity. It lasted 70 years. It had been decreed by Yahweh as the time period of their punishment.
If an Israelite were to attempt to escape from God’s decreed time of punishment of Babylonian captivity, it was at the very peril of his life. In other words, escape attempts were futile. Better to do as God counseled through Jeremiah. In Jeremiah 29, we see what God told the Israelites to do during the captivity.
Jeremiah 29:5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;
6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.
God, through Jeremiah, is telling the captive children of Israel to raise families and in general, to make the best use of their time while they have to be there. In these latter days of the unfolding of Bible prophecy, we Israelites again find ourselves in captivity to an alien power and for the very same reason: disobedience to Yahweh’s laws.
This time however, we have not been deported physically to Babylon. Why? One reason is because God promised us in 2 Samuel 7: 10 that he would “appoint a place for his people Israel” —and that “appointed place” could not possibly have been the old land of Israel, Palestine, because Nathan the prophet was standing there in Palestine talking to David the king and giving him this prophecy at that very time.
So, when God says through Nathan “I will appoint a place ... “ obviously, he is talking about some other place, not the ancient land of Israel. The “appointed place” would be another land where His people, Israel, would be regathered and from which they would “move no more.”
With our hindsight of history (fulfilled prophecies), we see that first, the Caucasian Israelites had to spread north and west to populate Europe, and then to the British Isles, and then onward in the latter days to the North American continent and to Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.
That is why we have not been deported. We are to move no more; there is no place else to move. The whole planet has been discovered and populated, so we have not been physically deported by an alien power.
Instead, an alien power has burrowed from within. They have infiltrated virtually all of our institutions including into our halls of government, and into finance, education, the media, and in industry, until they now reign over us almost completely.
The amazing thing about it is that they have done it so cleverly that the vast majority of Israelite Americans are not even aware that they/we are in captivity!
We could spend hours giving examples of our captivity, but let just a couple suffice. Just this past week the supreme sages in Washington known as the Supreme Court have decided that 12 lower courts were all wrong in their understanding of the Constitution.
These six people in their black robes, sitting on the high court—who are supposedly conservatives, I am ashamed to say; these were the conservatives on the wrong side and the liberals on the right side for a change—who decreed that roadblock sobriety checks are constitutional.
They opined that this is not an invasion of your fourth amendment right to be secure in your possessions and free from unreasonable searches and seizure. Thus, they have given the green light to these police roadblocks on the highway. Of course, this is another hallmark of totalitarianism.
They are conditioning our people to get used to it; first, under the pretense of stopping that nasty, nasty problem—which it is—of drunk drivers on the road. Next they will be stopping you to check for drugs. And then they will be stopping you to check for firearms, and then they will be stopping you to check for this and that. More and more erosion of our rights. Indeed, after September 11, 2001, the erosion of our God-given liberties accelerated astonishingly.
Here is another example: “Drug tactics raise rights fears” from USA Today. The war on drugs is another tactic which is being used to take away our rights. All for a good cause, of course! QUOTE:
Housing and Urban Development Secretary Jack Kemp says that he will now enforce the 1988 law seizing leases from public housing tenants suspected of dealing drugs, even those not charged!
These federal actions and others being taken locally as proof that the United States of America is ready “to throw away the Bill of Rights,” says the American Civil Liberties Union’s Jean Garrero.
[I hate to admit it but the ACLU is correct in this case. The ACLU is a far Left organization, full of antichrists and pro-Communists, but they are on the right side of the issue in this case. Garrero is correct. The Bill of Rights is being trashed.]
At issue: the fourth amendment right of guaranteeing the right of the people ... [The amendments and our Constitution do not grant us any rights! Rights come from God!] ... the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures.
“We are going from sanctions against persons dealing drugs to anyone coming in contact with them,” Garrero says. “The government seems to be doing a better job winning the war against the fourth amendment than winning the war against drugs,” say University of Michigan law professor Yali Kamissar, “and their tactics are choking the courts.”
Still the actions received widespread support, a recent Gallup poll showed 70% supports Bush’s tactics. END QUOTE
What is that poll telling us? That seventy percent of the people are in favor of throwing away their fourth amendment rights? Baloney! That is propaganda to the core!
If we were to go out and take a random survey on the same issue, but first we explain the fourth amendment danger to their liberty, and then ask them the poll question, we will find this poll is an outright lie—in the way the Gallup organization has twisted it and printed it here.
According to that same article, some of the recent get-tough tactics include drug testing of high school athletes and cheerleaders in Birmingham, Alabama.
Furthermore, a Des Moines police program is training hotel employees to look for drug dealers. Police also asked maids to keep the trash of suspicious individuals.
In Alexandria, Virginia (suburban D.C.) there is a law allowing up to two years imprisonment for two people, any two people, who loiter for several minutes exchanging small objects. Yes, it is true!
And we are told by the prostitute press that we are free in America. I am here to tell you, we are NOT free. This is the illusion of freedom. We are in captivity and we have been for quite some time.
I am not going to spend any more time trying to prove to a neophyte that this captivity is real; all you need to do is to avail yourself of some of the material in the alternative media—like the Jubilee newspaper [out of California for which I wrote news and analysis stories back then. It is now defunct.]
Certainly you don’t expect the Washington Post, the New York Times, NBC, CBS or CNN or Time or Newsweek to tell you that you are slaves, do you?
The heart of this alien power’s control, the heart of Mystery Babylon’s power over us is financial. One could say that the financial shackles were formally placed on Christian-Israel in America in 1913 with the creation of the criminal money monopoly called the Federal Reserve System.
The name itself is a deception, for it is neither “federal” — it is not a government agency, but a private money monopoly—nor is it a “reserve.” They have nothing in reserve but paper IOUs. But it certainly is a “system.” It is the Mystery Babylonian system which is controlling America. and it was ordained by God for our chastisement!
In ancient Babylon, after the 70 years of captivity were ended, King Cyrus the Great issued a decree which told the Judahite-Israelites that they could return to their land and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Can we apply this to our time?
Seventy years after 1913 was 1983. Did we suddenly become free again in 1983? Certainly not! Should we have? I don’t know for sure. But if 1913 is the starting point, and if the 70-year captivity is an exact type for our captivity to Mystery Babylon at this end of the age, then quite possibly, we should have been set free then.
However, we did not obtain our freedom then, so what happened? According to the chronology studies by our colleague, Dr. Stephen Jones, in his book, Secrets of Time, there is a ten-year delay due to the “Hezekiah factor,” which is far too involved to explain in this study.
But even with that additional ten years, should we not have been set free in 1993? Perhaps ... unless you understand another important principle in God’s dealings with nations: that God is allowing (causing) the Mystery Babylonian rulers to hold us in bondage past the allotted time that he turned us over to them. So, in a sports analogy, we are in an overtime period.
Additionally, the ancient Judahites did not leave Babylon immediately when the 70 years were expired.
Since the modern Mystery Babylonians will not free us as King Cyrus did, this then gives God legal cause to come in judgment against Mystery Babylon. And we know the Word says that is exactly what he will do.
Again, with the benefit of hindsight, since I wrote most of the preceding in 1991, it has now become clear to many Bible students—even those who do not understand our biblical identity as the descendants of the ancient 12 tribes of Israel—that a man named Donald J. Trump has appeared on the scene, and many recognize him as fulfilling the type of King Cyrus.
Now in the second half of the year 2025, President Trump is clearly seeking to destroy the Federal Reserve System, because he understands the control of money is the key to destroying their entire ungodly system.

Footnote 1: By “God’s Israel people” we are not referring to today’s Jewish people, but to those we call “Christian Israel.” This is shorthand for those Anglo-Saxon, Keltic, Scandinavian, Germanic, and the many related peoples of Europe, who in the past five centuries have migrated to North America, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and to a lesser extent to other locales around the globe. These are the descendants of the “lost tribes” of Israel, the bulk of whom were taken into the Assyrian Captivity in the 700s B.C., and who never returned to the old Promised Land, but migrated into Europe over many centuries.
