As a prelude to today’s essay, we offer this refresher of Bible history. When Israel of old finished 40 years of training in the wilderness, Joshua led them into the Promised Land. Forty years prior, they had been fearful to go in because ten of the twelve Israelite spies had reported that there were giants in the land.
Because of their lack of faith in God—that He would be with them to conquer the utterly wicked Canaanites—they were sentenced to the 40 years of wilderness wanderings.
Over 400 years later, while King David was on the throne in Jerusalem ruling over the twelve tribes of Israel, the prophet Nathan gave the Word of Yahweh to David concerning the distant future. This is part of what is known as the Davidic Covenant (which we have expounded in many hours of Bible lectures).
2 Samuel 7:10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them anymore, as beforetime,
Since David was in the city of Jerusalem when he received this prophetic Word, it is obvious that the “appointed place” must be somewhere else. A deep study of Bible history and prophecy, along with a knowledge of so-called “secular” history demonstrates that the many of the descendants of those ancient Israelites are now in that final “appointed place.”
We say “final” because Great Britain was an intermediate “appointed place” where the various tribes came together over many centuries. But beginning 500 years ago, segments of all the tribes came to this North American continent seeking to establish the Kingdom of God upon the earth.
They were partially successful, having established the United States of American with a Constitution based more on the Bible than on any earlier philosophers and statesmen. But there were tares planted with the wheat.
The tares have succeeded in establishing their dominion over Christian Israel in America, and for over the past century, we have been under the increasing bondage and burdens of what the Bible calls, “Mystery Babylon the Great.”
But the time has come when that world-ruling antichrist system is falling and coming to an end. And we, like our ancestors under Joshua are expected to be active participants in taking this latter-day and greater Promised Land here in North America.
Joshua was the God-ordained leader of the Israelites as they “little-by-little” (Deuteronomy 7:22) took control of the old Promised Land. But Joshua could not do the job by himself. Every family in Israel had to be part of the battles to take the Promised Land.
So it is today. We—along with millions of other Christians—believe that God has ordained the man named Donald John Trump to be our modern-day Joshua to lead us to take control of this Promised Land. But like Joshua, Mr. Trump needs the active participation of a vast multitude of citizens in modern Christian-Israel America.
Even after the gracious re-election of DJT in 2024, it is a fact that if we do not “keep our foot on the gas pedal,” that this victory will be short lived, and we could end up going into a much deeper and darker captivity to the Mystery Babylonian cabal.
To that end, we have for years been encouraging our readers to be involved in the political battles on the local level. We too have giants in the land with which we must contend and defeat.
They are known as Big Pharma/Big Medicine, Big Tech, Big Media (aka “fake news”), Big Education, Big Food, Big Government—and dare I say, Big Banking (money system) and Big Religion, etc.
Was Moses or Joshua perfect? Of course not; and neither is Mr. Trump, but his actions have been true to his words and that is more than we have seen from the occupant in the White House in many decades. The time to take this Promised Land is now!
I have shared with you from time to time, our own experiences in the political arena. I do that to show you what we are doing on the local and state level, and more than that, to encourage you to do that same in your communities. Even if you reside in a very blue state or city, there are still many Christian patriots there.
Such as in my neighboring deep blue Asheville, there is an active Republican organization, but they need more people who will join them to oust the seven Democrat (communists, in our view) who presently sit on the Asheville City Council.
This past weekend, I attended the Henderson County Republican Men’s Club (HCRMC) breakfast meeting. The guest speaker was Jake Johnson, a 30 or 31-year old, who is the youngest member of the NC General Assembly. Representative Johnson represents parts of four of our western counties, including my own Henderson County, although he is not my state rep.

Jake is a “fireball,” whose passion for God and godly government is evident to all who know him or hear him speak.
Although not in the terms I have written in the prelude above, Jake clearly emphasizes the need for all citizens who love God, country and liberty to be as involved as possible.
He spoke of the fact that we (conservative Republicans) had held a Republican super-majority at the statehouse in Raleigh. With those numbers, the Republicans were able to get some very important legislation passed because they were able to override almost all the vetoes by the very Leftist former Gov. Roy Cooper.
Unfortunately, last November, the equally Leftist former Attorney General, Josh Stein, won the governor’s mansion; and sadly, the 71 Republicans in the Statehouse are now one vote shy of a supermajority.
This, Jake explained, was due in part to the fact that Stein had a large war chest and instead of keeping it for himself for the future, saw the wisdom (from his perspective) of using those bundles of cash to support election of Dems around the state to take away the Repubs’ supermajority. Stein succeeded.
On the good side, and favoring us temporarily at least, the power of the governor to appoint the five members to the State Board of Elections, was transferred to the State Auditor, who is presently a Republican. Therefore, our own Henderson County Board, which was previously Dem-controlled due to Roy Cooper’s appointments, is now Republican-controlled.
Jake is on a number of important committees in Raleigh, and chairs two of the most powerful; the Appropriations Committee and the Oversight Committee. He is also involved in the subcommittees which are involved with Election Integrity and IT/Cybersecurity.
To make the point, he said that he is not concerned that the Chinese Communists will be landing troops on the beach in Charleston. They don’t have to, he explained, because they have been invading us in cyberspace for years.
The danger is very real, and we must be vigilant in our elections because of the ease with which electronic machines can be hacked and election results reversed from the real winner to someone usually a Democrat, but some RINOs as well, who are controlled by them and their agents. Witness many in the present U.S. Congress.
Our own U.S. Congressman, Chuck Edwards, whom I have come to know personally, will be the speaker at our next HCRMC meeting. I am looking forward to that. I hope this essay encourages our readers to be active in your communities as we, with God’s help, will retake our Second Promised Land.
