Mystery Babylon and the Stone Kingdom, part 83—The Great Deception Explained!
Communists (the Reds) are now openly and brazenly declaring they are taking over America under what they presume will be the new administration of former Vice President Joe Biden.
Our heavenly Father was not caught off guard by anything that puny men have planned and devised. He sits in the heavens and laughs (Psalm 2:1-4). In fact, He has planned everything from the beginning, including the actions of this present batch of tyrants.
They think that they are creating a New World Order—a new totalitarian, tyrannical government run by themselves. But it is nothing new. It is as old as Nimrod and Esau, as we shall now commence to demonstrate.

The following passage is one of the most important and key passages in the entire Bible when it comes to understanding our present predicament, for this story sets forth the beginning of a struggle which has governed the history of the world for millennia!
Genesis 25: 21 And Isaac intreated the LORD [Yahweh] for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD [Yahweh] was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
22 And the children [Notice: God does not call them “fetuses!”] struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD [Yahweh].
23 And the LORD [Yahweh] said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
25 And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
28 And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
29 And Jacob sod [boiled] pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
Let us begin our analysis of this passage and see how far we can get in the time remaining for today’s lecture. I am well aware that perhaps much of this material is not new to you people here in our live audience, but keep in mind that these lectures are now capable of reaching vast numbers of new people through the internet.
God called Abraham for a special purpose. God made certain promises to Abraham and to his descendants which can be summed up in the word “birthright.” Included in the great birthright were all kinds of promises of spiritual blessings.
But more than that, it also bespoke of vast wealth and riches in terms of material abundance and prosperity, plus the calling of being a people who would exercise rulership over the rest of the world.
All this and more was promised to Abraham and to his descendants and is encompassed in the word “birthright.” Incidentally, we went into this in considerable detail in our lecture series entitled The Covenants of the Bible. You can contact us and ask for details on how to get the series in a set of CD albums. Or you can simply listen to them all here. It is also presently being serialized in our monthly Feed My Sheep teaching monographs. Sign up here to receive it the FMS.
It must be understood, however, that all these blessings were not for all the lines of Abraham’s descendants, but only for one particular chosen family, a chosen people, if you will.
As it happened, Abraham’s wife, Sarah, was barren; so the two of them decided that they would see if they could bring forth a son to inherit all these promises by means of a surrogate mother. So Sarah agrees to let Abraham have relations with Sarah’s handmaid named Hagar. Sure enough, a son is born. They name him Ishmael.
But they later discover that Ishmael is not the line of descendants God had in mind for the birthright. Eventually, Sarah miraculously conceives and brings forth a son who is named Isaac. Later, in Isaac’s adulthood, God confirms the covenant and birthright with Isaac.
Ishmael’s descendants are identifiable in the world today as the Arab peoples. Many if not most Arabs are aware of that ancestral connection. Now Isaac is getting close to 60 years old and it turns out that his wife, Rebekah, is barren also, just as Sarah was.
But instead of following the same path as his father and mother by having a surrogate mother produce an heir, we just read here in verse 23 that Isaac entreated Yahweh and God heard his prayer and Rebekah got pregnant.
During the pregnancy, Rebekah notices that there is a lot of commotion going on in her womb and so she asks God what that’s all about. And the answer she received from God is so powerful that it has repercussions—indeed, it is a major factor in world affairs to this day!
23 And the LORD [Yahweh] said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
In other words, the history of the world has been and continues to be enormously influenced and to a great extent, even determined, by what was set in motion by God in the womb of Rebekah! As thoughtful Bible students recognize, every single detail, every word, every number in the Scriptures is immensely important.
The 50 chapters in the book of Genesis cover a span all the way from the time Adam and Eve to the death of Jacob’s son, Joseph, a period of roughly 2,400 years. So if God decided to put certain details concerning the birth of the twins in the Scriptures, then we can be certain these details are important. It tells us in verse 25:
25 And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau
Notice that it does not simply say that this infant was what we call a “redhead.” It states specifically that the infant was covered with red hair, like a garment. It was probably a down-like covering of fine red hair.
The word Esau means “hairy” and so the name fits the person. So we know that a red infant came out of Rebekah, right? But it is just as correct to say that the child came out of Isaac.
In fact, the Bible uses the term “out of thy loins” on a number of occasions. “Loins” is a euphemism for virility or the seat of manhood. Keep that in mind. Verse 27 tells us several important facts. We will focus on just one in this lecture:
27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
Esau is described as a cunning hunter. Who else in the Bible was described as a hunter, in fact, a mighty hunter? It was Nimrod. He set up a powerful kingdom in the plain of Shinar, which was in the same general vicinity as afterward became known as Babylon. So Nimrod has a connection with Babylon.
I have taught the story of Joseph the patriarch over a series of 30 lectures (see more here), which were later serialized in our monthly Feed My Sheep monographs. I interwove the account from the book of Jasher into the account given in Genesis.
The book of Jasher is mentioned twice in the Bible, clearly as a reference or a source for some things related in Genesis. I do not place the book of Jasher on a par with the Bible, but the version I use seems to be in complete accordance with the Bible.
That is to say, I have read the book of Jasher several times with an eye to finding any place where it contradicts the Bible and I found none. However, beware, there is a shorter version which circulates under the same name, the book of Jasher.
I applied the same standard to it and found it seriously contradicts the Bible in more than one place. I published my findings in two issues of Feed My Sheep dated October and November of 2000. They can be found here.
I tell you all that because the book of Jasher provides some very intriguing background information concerning Nimrod and Esau. I will simply summarize it here. The book of Jasher tells that Nimrod became such a powerful ruler that he ruled over all the descendants of Noah.
How did he become so powerful? Jasher provides a fascinating answer. It says that the animal skins that God originally provided for Adam and Eve eventually ended up in the hands of Cush, Nimrod’s father. Cush gave them to Nimrod when he was 20 years old. Then, when Nimrod put on those garments, it says in Jasher:
Jasher 7:30 And Nimrod became strong when he put on the garments, and God gave him might and strength, and he was a mighty hunter in the earth, yea, he was a mighty hunter in the field, and he hunted the animals and he built altars, and he offered upon them the animals before the Lord.

Unfortunately, Nimrod turned to wickedness and away from the Lord. The story continues telling how one day Esau ambushed Nimrod and killed him with a sword and stole the valuable garments by which Nimrod had attained power over all people.
However, Esau did not escape cleanly. He was being pursued by Nimrod’s men and that is why he was so exhausted when he asked Jacob for some food. He may not have been exaggerating when he said he was at the point of death, because if Nimrod’s men caught him, he would certainly have been executed.
Although the men were twins, Esau was the first-born son of Isaac. In those days, the custom was that by the law of primogeniture, that the birthright would go to Esau, the eldest son.
But he sold it to Jacob because he needed sustenance to escape Nimrod’s bodyguards. Plus, if he did escape, he figured he now had the garments of power and he could care less about the birthright. So Genesis 25, verse 30 tells us:
30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
This is twice, this is a double witness, that the color red is associated with Esau, and at this point we are told that he is also known by the name Edom, which literally means “red.”
Sometime later, as Isaac has gone blind in his old age and senses that his death may not be far off, he wants to perform a ceremony to formally pass the birthright down to his eldest son, Esau-Edom.
We do not know if Jacob had never told his father that Esau had sold him the birthright, or if he did tell him and Isaac refused to honor the contract… We just don’t know.
In any event, Rebekah conspired with Jacob to disguise Jacob as Esau. Sure enough, blind Isaac was deceived and he “accidentally” gave the birthright blessing to Jacob.
But didn’t God intend for Jacob to have the birthright blessing? Absolutely. But perhaps Jacob thought God had forgotten or that God needed his help in making sure he got the birthright, so he and his mom pulled the big deception on Isaac.
Fast forward now almost four thousand years to the 20th century and we find that Isaac’s descendants through Jacob-Israel are now known as the I-Sak-sons, or simply the Saxons, among many other names, and they inhabit Great Britain, among many other places.
In the early 20th century, modern “Isaac,” Great Britain was blind again as the former Prime Minister, but now Foreign Secretary, Arthur Balfour—and let me just add this parenthetically—that Arthur Balfour was a member of the powerful and prominent Cecil family of England. I have discussed this in more detail in my series, Which Bible? Which Version?
Another descendant, a gentleman by the name of William Cecil, whose mother was Cornelia Vanderbilt, the only child of George Vanderbilt, today owns the famous Biltmore House in my adopted hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.

(Update: Since I presented this information in lecture form in 2012, both William and his wife, Mary, passed away in 2017. While I was still in the construction industry in the late 80s, early 90s, I was the Project Manager for three construction projects for Bill and “Mimi” Cecil. They were nice people. In 1991, I began full-time ministry.)

Back to “blind Isaac-Great Britain”… In 1917 Arthur Balfour issued the Balfour Declaration. It stated the official position of his majesty’s government. This document paved the way for the modern Jewish people to create the state of Israel on May 14, 1948. So consider the irony of the whole manner in which God planned all of this before the eons began:
That the man Jacob would disguise himself as Esau in order to be sure he would obtain the birthright, which was already legally his, and which God intended for him to have. Nonetheless, Jacob did it by deception.
Therefore, almost four thousand years later, Jacob-Israel’s descendants, in the form of Saxon-Great Britain are blind (Isaac is blind) to the reality that the Jewish people today are actually representing the people of Esau-Edom!
Thus, the great deception is reversed as modern Esau-Edom has disguised himself as Israel, and even played it to the hilt by establishing their homeland in the old land of Israel and calling their modern state by the biblical name of Israel. What a massive case of identity theft! Ah, but as I said, it’s all in the plan of God. It will come to an end.
And I am nearly at the end of my time for this lecture, but I want to add one more thing. That is, the role of the modern church. We discussed earlier the prophecy and promise of God to Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, that God would not take away all the tribes but would leave the tribe of Benjamin to be a light for Judah.
Benjamin represents the church. And so what do we see today, indeed, have seen for centuries? We see how the blinded church has elevated the Jewish people as God’s chosen people, as “Israel,” when in fact they represent only the tribe of Judah at best.
And that representation is almost entirely symbolic and from God’s legal perspective, because in fact, the Jewish people are Esau-Edom disguised as Jacob-Israel! (And yes, I am well aware of the Khazar connection but that’s a very long story, and too much to bring into this discussion.)
And Benjamin, as the church, has been and still is trying to get Esau—whom they believe is Judah—to believe the gospel of the Messiah from the tribe of Judah. Esau-Edom as a people, as a group, however, were never prophesied to believe the gospel in this age, as were the sheep of the true House of Israel. That is why, in this age, the vast majority of them cannot and will not believe in Jesus!
God has assigned Esau-Edom to play the role of the adversary to true Israel. As I have stated in the past, I am speaking in general here. Any individual who is of physical Edomite (and/or Khazar) descent may choose to attach themselves to Christ by faith, just as anyone else may do.
The door is open for individuals, but on the national family level, Edom will not come to Christ in this age. Some individual Jews have done so over the centuries, and more will, but in general, they will not.
In fact, there are some individuals of Jewish ancestry on my mailing list and/or CD Ministry, and a few have become very dear friends over the past 20+ years that I have known them.
We have now lain the biblical foundation for discussing red communism as we continue this series in the next lecture. Stay tuned.
