Chapter 30: Tracing the Ancient Reds, Part 1

Mystery Babylon and the Stone Kingdom, part 84—My dilemma regarding communism

Welcome back! In this chapter, we return to the book of beginnings, the book of Genesis, and begin to show you how a certain prophecy has been fulfilled all the way up to the present day.

But we have some table-setting to do before we go to the book of Genesis.

First off, I will give a disclaimer such as I did repeatedly when discussing Roman Catholicism, and which I have done previously concerning the Jewish people, but this is applicable to any ethnic group.

God’s Word deals with nations or people groups, as well as individuals. Just because someone is of true Israelite blood and ancestry does not mean that they are automatically saved or that they will be in the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ.

We are not saved by race, but by grace. Any true Israelite who rejects Jesus as his King is just as lost as anyone else. Conversely, just because someone has some Jewish and/or Edomite and/or Canaanite and/or Khazar blood or ancestry, that fact does not mean that all those people as individuals are automatically excluded from salvation. They are not excluded.

After all, as regular readers and listeners of these teachings know, we teach that God will ultimately save all human beings. See my series of studies entitled God’s Plan for Man: The Salvation of All Mankind. (Click here and scroll down to the Bible Teaching section.)

The Plan will take ages (eons) to play out. Meanwhile, God has predestinated certain people groups—such as true Israel, and false Israel (Canaanite Edom, now known as Jews)—to play their parts in God’s great drama of the ages.

So the bottom line of my disclaimer is that there is no hatred on my part for any person or ethnic group, because I see God working through everyone.

Secondly, no individual of any ethnic background should ever become bitter or despair of being part of the Creator’s glorious kingdom, because there is provision for you, but it is only through faith in Jesus or if you prefer, through Yeshua, as your Messiah.

In our last chapter we went all the way back in our Bibles to Genesis, chapter 25, where I read verses 21 through 34. I stated that that passage is foundational to understanding the new section of this series which we are now commencing. In a phrase, this part of our series is about red communism, or more generally, the Reds.

This lecture will continue to lay more biblical foundation, but at the same time we will also be analyzing relatively recent world history vis à vis the Reds. In a minute, I will show you how we should not restrict our discussion and analysis to communism alone but to other “-isms” and movements which are tools of the Reds as well.

The passage in Genesis 25 concerns both the birth of the twins, Jacob and Esau, and the incident in their adulthood where Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of soup. In both cases, we found that the Bible very curiously but very specifically shows how Esau is identified with the color red.

We further saw how, in fact, he was later called Edom, which literally means “red.” Red, of course, is the color that is associated with extreme passion, such as when we describe someone as being “hot-headed” when such a person gets so angry that they are almost out of control.

Historically, red is the color of the planet Mars, for the simple reason that it looks red in the sky. Even further back in history, in Roman mythology, Mars was the god of war, wherein much red blood is shed.

From other parts of the Latin word, mars, we obtain our word “martial,” meaning war-like. So Mars, martial, warlike, red and Edom are all related concepts. Since Edom means red, we are on safe ground in referring to Jacob’s twin brother as Esau the Red.

And yes, to cut to the chase, I am saying that there is a tie-in, a relationship, between Esau the Red, and the Reds of modern world communism. I conclude that the Bible is showing that some of the literal descendants of Esau were and are at the forefront of red communism.

At this point, I must confess that I have a dilemma. I am of the baby boomer generation—born nearer to the leading edge of it in 1949. Therefore, when I was growing up, it was the period of the Cold War. That term itself is part of my dilemma.

The Cold War lasted about 40 years. The “news” during that period was constantly full of stories about the horrors and terror tactics of the Reds, the communists.

We supposedly fought the Korean War to stop the communists. By the time I was 18 and becoming eligible for the draft, we were supposedly fighting the Vietnam War to stop the Reds from taking over all of southeast Asia. By 1973, however, it was eminently clear that “Oops, we lost that country to the communists, too!”

When I was 18, just after graduation from the boarding school Catholic seminary, a classmate and good friend of mine quit the seminary and joined the Marines. After his basic training he had leave before he was headed off to “Nam.”

While on his leave, he and I and four other buddies had a great time, along with a very near fatal car accident. For the record, none of us had had a drop of alcohol. I received one letter from him when he got to Nam. A few weeks later, in August of 1967, we were all mourning at his funeral, as he had been shot multiple times while parachuting into a hot zone.

One of the things that really bothered me and puzzled me as I saw the possibility that I could likewise end up dying in Vietnam was this:

How could it be that a country so big and so powerful as the United States could not win the war in Korea and now we were seeing a repeat in Vietnam? After all, in WW II, all of Europe was practically lost to Hitler and Mussolini, and England was probably going to fall as well.

At that time it was the military might and industrial strength of the United States which primarily defeated the Nazis, the Fascists and the great martial power of Imperial Japan.

So, in my thinking in those days (circa 1967), why in the world should I go to Vietnam in the U. S. Army and shoot bullets from an M-16 rifle at a communist Viet Cong who is shooting at me, when the United States was perfectly capable at any time of using B-52s to bomb the bottom out of Haiphong harbor, the major port in North Vietnam?

That would thereby cut off the supplies to the Reds of North Vietnam and the war could be over in a matter of a few days. It just did not make sense to me. Of course, now I understand... as do some of you in this audience, even if the vast majority of Americans still do not understand. But what is really sad is that, for the most part, they could care less.

And thus, because we as a people, will not learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it. It is repeating even now. How? Well, since we are told the threat from red communism no longer exists, we find our sons and daughters being killed and maimed while fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan against an enemy called “terror-ism!”

So my dilemma is this. Not only do we have a majority of older adults who do not understand and who do not care about red communism, but we now have two younger generations of adults who get a blank look on their face when the term “red communism” is even mentioned.

Most of them have absolutely no understanding of its history, and those who do have the slightest smidgeon of understanding recent history will confidently assert that “communism fell” in the late 1980s and early 90s when “the people” in those communist countries rose up and rebelled and defeated the communists.

Of course, nothing of the sort ever happened. It was all manipulated and staged for public consumption. My dilemma is: how can I explain red communism to these younger generations and to the ignorant (not stupid, mind you) but to the ignorant among middle-aged folks? How can they understand what was really happening in the period designated as the Cold War?

Go to a shopping mall and ask a hundred people below the age of 40 what the Cold War was all about. How many out of a hundred would be able to say anything coherent and accurate about the Cold War? What do you think? Maybe ten percent? 10 out of 100?

(When I presented this lecture in 2012, my well-informed live audience answered, no.) No? ...maybe three or four percent, then? (To that they agreed.) That is the mountain before me. How can I educate them in the truth of the history of our country and our people?

Especially when they cannot see how any of that stuff about the Reds and communism is relevant to them on a personal basis.  A likely reaction is, “Don’t bother me with that ancient history, man; I’ve got to Facebook with my friends!”

Oh, I could lay out all the history in a step-by-step manner. I could teach the history of the past 200 years so that it could be clearly understood as truth by anyone who is intellectually honest and who would take the time to listen and learn. But to do so would take more hours than we already have spent in this entire series to date—and that is no exaggeration!

While I do see teaching the history of our people as part of my job description, I simply cannot take that much time to do so in this series. So all that is to say two things:

Number one: I will provide only the most bare-bones version of the history of communism in the hope that my audience will recognize that I cannot take the time to connect all the dots and lay out extensive proofs all along the way.

And number two: I believe my dilemma has been ameliorated because a method of demonstrating the ongoing relevance of red communism to the everyday life of every American has emerged in my thinking.

I mentioned it very briefly in the last lecture. Do you remember the little play on the word “Christmas?” “Christ became mass?” And how I stated that in the so-called “free and democratic” nations in the West, that the Reds have become the Greens?

Then a few minutes ago I said that I will show you how we should not restrict our analysis to communism alone but to other “-isms” as well. Let me list a few of them—and granted they do not all end in “i-s-m,” but they are labels and buzzwords which describe Leftist pushes and movements.

And I assert to you that they are all tools of the Reds as they are pushing for total dominion over the entire globe. A corollary point here is that when I refer to the “Reds,” it must be understood that communism is only one manifestation of the Reds. They wear many “garments to deceive.” (That is a reference to Nimrod in the book of Jasher.)

They cloak their plans and methods behind many masks and names and labels. They have many weapons in their arsenal for their millennia-long war against the people of true Israel.

Communism was a prominent tool for 150 years but the term—not the ideology—but the term has fallen out of vogue. The ideology, the world-view, the cause and goals of the Reds has not changed ever since Esau the Red became furious and martial towards Jacob for receiving the birthright from their father Isaac.

And so while the label of communism has largely fallen from public consciousness, the ideology lives on under other labels, because, as deceivers often do, they change names, either their own names or that of their organizations and movements.

Of course, one of the biggest name-changing deceptions in history which God engineered via Esau the Red’s descendants was their identity theft of the name Israel in 1948. We discussed that last time.

So here is a list of just some of the other “isms” which are tools of the Reds: Marxism, socialism, fascism, Nazism, Progressivism, Liberalism, ecumenism (or some say, ecumenicalism), liberation theology, environmentalism, biodiversity, sustainability, green development, green jobs, global warming, climate change, Agenda 21 (recently replaced by the term Agenda 2030)—oh, and finally, here’s one we should not omit: capitalism.

All of these have one overarching purpose or theme or philosophy in common—they can all be summed up in the word collectivism. Reds are collectivists. They have a hive mentality. Your rights as an individual are subservient to the group. Whatever the group decides is what you will do. Of course, collectivism is not the end goal of those at the top.

It is merely the tool used by the Reds to gain supremacy and control over all the earth. George Orwell tried to warn us about this in his book, Animal Farm. The animal farm is the collective where all the animals are equal, “but,” said the pigs, “some animals are more equal than others.”

Now when I mentioned capitalism among the collectivist ideologies... of course, I am not referring to true capitalism—which we have explained in a previous lecture, but to the so-called capitalism of today which is a perversion and denial of true capitalism.

This perverted capitalism is called by various terms in its various manifestations; terms such as monopoly capitalism, crony capitalism, corporate capitalism, corporatism, state capitalism, and so forth.

Please note that I labeled these isms and movements as tools of the Reds. Note:

I did not say that every single individual adherent or believer in these was or is a knowing, witting Red collectivist. There are millions of people who work in various levels of monopoly capitalistism corporations who are fine people simply trying to make a living and who have no idea of what they are part of.

Moreover, when it comes to mass movements, there is always a certain percentage—often a majority of the members who are nothing more than window dressing and cannon fodder for the string-pullers and manipulators behind the scenes. In that connection, you recall our discussion of the Occupy Movement previously in this series.

So, for example, there are a plethora of environmental organizations. Everyone is for clean air and water and therefore, we find many good-hearted people are duped into donating their time and money for a cause they believe is good, but which is secretly being manipulated for evil. That’s part of the mystery of Mystery Babylon. We will pick up the teaching here in the next installment.

(To be continued.)
