Mystery Babylon and the Stone Kingdom, part 87—1776 and beyond: Weishaupt and his Reds infiltrate Freemasonry
Welcome back to our study of Mystery Babylon and the Stone Kingdom. The previous chapter/lecture was entitled Tracing the Ancient Reds. In that teaching, we showed how what we have seen unfold in the history of the past few hundred years has its origins way back in the book of beginnings, also known as the book of Genesis.
Specifically, we found that by deception Jacob received the birthright blessing from his blind father, Isaac. This birthright was extremely important and valuable, not only for the fact—as most Christians know—that the Savior of the world would descend from their loins, but because the birthright also included the divine right that Israel would rule the world—in righteousness under King Jesus, of course.
We saw that Jacob-Israel’s twin brother, Esau, had legally sold his claim to the birthright to Jacob in return for a bowl of red lentil soup. Remember how he thought he had something more valuable after killing Nimrod and stealing his special garment? So, as the Bible declares, Esau despised his birthright. (Genesis 25:34)
You will recall also that the reason Esau was nicknamed Edom was because of the red soup—a seemingly very insignificant little piece of information. However, serious Bible students understand that absolutely nothing, not one jot or tittle—or as we today would say—not one dot over an “i,” and not one crossing of a “t” is without great meaning in God’s Word.
This identification of Esau-Edom as red has staggering importance for us and the entire world, because the descendants of Esau-Edom have been the instigators and prime movers behind the force and the form of government known as communism whose color and whose flag just “happens” to be red. Thus, they biblically identify themselves for us.
On the grand scale, this is all about the Reds, the people of Esau-Edom, trying to regain the birthright blessing which they (legally) lost nearly four thousand years ago. In fact, the Bible itself foretold in Genesis 27, verse 40, how there would come a time when the people of Esau-Edom would gain supremacy.
When Esau pleaded with papa Isaac for a blessing for himself, this is what Isaac prophesied for him and his descendants. It is still being played out today. Let me give you this verse once again. It is from the KJV. But with my comments in brackets for clarity, I call it Bruggeman’s Amplified Version.
Genesis 27:40 And by thy sword [Esau,] shalt thou [and your descendants] live, and shalt serve thy brother [Jacob and his descendants]; and it shall come to pass [many centuries in the future, that] when thou [your descendants, Esau] shalt have the dominion [supremacy, rulership], that thou [your descendants, Esau] shalt break his [Jacob-Israel’s descendants’] yoke from off thy neck.
This is a major prophecy in the Bible and we have already spent considerable space showing its fulfillment, with many more chapters of the same to come. Yet, I daresay that virtually no churches ever accurately expound this prophecy! Why is that? I could list several reasons, but the main reason is because they misidentify the players both ancient and modern.
I stated in the last chapter that in my opinion, this supremacy of Esau began to manifest in the late 1700s. Thus we began to trace Red Esau through the international banking family known as the Rothschilds, the name itself meaning “red shield.”
The rise of the Rothschild banking dynasty coincided with the decline of the international power which had been wielded by the papacy for many centuries. Prophetically, this meant that the power of the religious arm of Mystery Babylon was being eclipsed by the power of financial Babylon.
I also stated that in order to not extend this series another 30 lectures, that I would not be able to do any more than to skim the surface of laying out the history of the past couple hundred years and show its connection with the Bible prophecies concerning Mystery Babylon and the Stone Kingdom. (I must smile as I admit that, even with skimming the surface of history, the entire series currently consists of 69 chapters/lectures—well over 30 lectures to go from this point.)
Therefore, do not expect me to take the time to cite all my sources and to document everything I say. The internet is a wonderful resource. Everyone can now have access to hundreds and thousands of sources in a few clicks of a mouse, so I encourage anyone who doubts me on the historical facts to do your own homework.
We concluded the previous lecture by showing how Mayer Amschel Rothschild employed the services of a man name Adam Weishaupt to organize a secret society, the goals of which would be to destroy the existing order of all civilizations and upon its ashes to build a new world order.
This would be nothing less than the people of Esau finally obtaining what they have sought ever since Genesis 27, to rule the world! In my view, with great deception and secrecy (mystery), they have accomplished it.
We are going to continue now where I left off. I am calling this lecture Tracing the Modern Reds.
That secret society founded by Weishaupt, but on behalf of and bankrolled by Rothschild and his council of twelve, was called The Order of the Illuminati, meaning The Order of the Enlightened Ones, or the Illuminated Ones.
They see themselves as being persons of greater mental ability than the rest of humanity and therefore they have decided that they will rule over the rest of us. We saw last time how Rothschild in 1773 had already formulated plans for a great revolution in France.
In 1785 an Illuminati courier on horseback was struck by lightning and when Bavarian government officials examined the saddlebags, they discovered not only the existence of the Illuminati but also its plans for what would become known as the French Revolution.
The Bavarian government subsequently exposed the plans of the Illuminati and warned other governments, particularly France, about the diabolical Order and its plans. But the French government essentially ignored the warning.
Later in 1785, in October, Bavarian government authorities raided the home of an Illuminati member named Von Zwack. They discovered Illuminati documents which showed quite clearly that they planned to bring about a "universal revolution that should deal the death-blow to society...this revolution will be the work of the secret societies, and that is one of our great mysteries."
Indeed, it was a great mystery, and even to this day, the influence of the secret societies in world affairs remains a mystery to most. But we are very near the end of the rule of Mystery Babylon and it is being exposed now to a much greater degree than it ever has been previously. More on that in a later lecture, perhaps.

The Bavarian authorities arrested all the members of the Illuminati that they could find, but Weishaupt and others had already gone underground, as it were.
One might wonder why the French and other governments would not heed the warnings. I would suppose the reason is because it was thought that now that the Illuminati had been exposed, it would simply fall apart and disappear.
Well, disappear it did, but in 1789, the French Revolution “happened.” Well, of course, it did not just spontaneously happen. It was an Illuminati operation from the start, or more accurately, it was a Rothschild Red Edom operation, using the Illuminati to carry out the plan.
The exposure of the Illuminati by the Bavarian government was ineffective also because the evil conspirator Weishaupt had foreseen the possibility of exposure and had planned for the Illuminati to continue operating underground.
In fact, Weishaupt had already chosen another organizational vehicle through which to operate clandestinely. By the time the French Revolution broke out, the Illuminati was well along in infiltrating and eventually rising to the very top of an already-long-existing secret society known as the Freemasons. Many prominent men of that era were Freemasons, both in the Old World and in the New.
Another disclaimer is due at this point, this time concerning Freemasonry. And for that matter, we can include the Rosicrucians as well. Both of these secret societies have historically been concerned with mystical and philosophical matters, and in general, with what today would simply be called science.
In my very early 20s, I myself had joined the Rosicrucians (AMORC), but I never advanced beyond the Neophyte level, and had dropped it after probably no more than two years, if that. I never attended any meetings but was only affiliated through correspondence courses.
As far as the Freemasons are concerned, I am not now, and have never been one. I have known many—most of them what are called Blue Lodge members, and in my mind, I associate that with blue-collar types of individuals. I don’t know if that is entirely accurate but that is my impression. Good, honest, working class men.
I have also known a few 32nd degree Masons, two of whom I came to know quite well, and I would vouch that both of these men were of good character and in no way would I believe that they were knowing, witting conspirators of the Illuminati-type.
The Illuminati infiltrated their men into Freemasonry, but it does not logically follow that every Freemason is an evil conspirator. After all, the Illuminati conspirators need many good men as window dressing behind which to conceal their evil deeds. So please do not send me emails or letters accusing me of condemning your dad or your brother just because they happen to be Freemasons. I am sure they, too, are fine persons and by no stretch are they evil conspirators.
So keep my disclaimer in mind as we proceed through these lectures. Going back to the late 1700s, most readers probably know that among the prominent men who were Freemasons were George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton and many other of the founding fathers.
I suspect that many readers, however, would be surprised to learn that in 1796, Freemasonry became a major issue in the Presidential election in the United States. John Adams won the election by opposing Masonry, and his son John Quincy Adams warned of the dire threat to the nation posed by the Masonic Lodges:
Quoting John Quincy Adams:
"I do conscientiously and sincerely believe that the Order of Freemasonry, if not the greatest, is one of the greatest moral and political evils ..."
A year later, in 1797 a professor at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, wrote a book, a copy of which ended up in the hands of George Washington. As with many books in those days, it had a very long title.
I am quoting the title from a photostat of the fourth edition, published in 1798. The title reads: “Proofs of a Conspiracy against all the Religions and Governments of Europe, carried on in the secret meetings of Free Masons, Illuminati, and Reading Societies.”
In his book Professor Robison reveals that Adam Weishaupt had even attempted to recruit him. That is because Robison was no mental lightweight, but was one of the intellectual elite of his time. He was a close friend of James Watt, the inventor of the steam engine, and whose name is now used as a measurement of electrical power.
We must cut off the narrative at this point, lest we be obliged to close in the middle of a long quotation. We will commence with that in the next installment.
