What a week it was! We are now in “Trump time” as evidenced by the phenomenal number of events that occurred in the past eight days.
One week ago yesterday Donald J. Trump was inaugurated as the President of the United States of America. That was an extraordinarily significant event in American and indeed, world history, as later honest historians will acknowledge.
Later that night, I and the “Buckeye nation” had the added pleasure of seeing the Ohio State Buckeyes win the national championship over Notre Dame. (The newly-inaugurated Vice-President, J. D. Vance, is also an alumnus from OSU.)
Who cares? some would say. But please bear with me. I admit, only a couple million Buckeye and Notre Dame fans cared about the College Football Championship game. Moreover, I myself realize that football is wholly insignificant in comparison to the event at the Capitol at noon eight days ago.
Full confession: If the Buckeyes were not perennial contenders, and merely a mediocre college football team, I would not care one whit about Ohio State; but I would also not have the pleasure of social activities here in WNC with fellow Buckeye fans.
Although I root for the Buckeyes in football season, I never donate one red cent to the university that indoctrinated me in the “glories of socialism.” (Since I am speaking of OSU, the emphasis is on “red.” LOL)
The rest of last week was a whirlwind of Presidential activities with POTUS visiting our region on Friday before heading to the fire-ravaged areas around Los Angeles. But back to football and how it segues into the main theme of this essay.
The following excerpt is from the website of Philadelphia NBC-affiliate, Channel 10. QUOTE:
During a wintry weather preparations news conference in the hours before the Philadelphia Eagles’ snowy playoff win over the Los Angles Rams, Mayor Cherelle Parker had her moment of messing up the chant. END QUOTE
So here we have a “professional” news organization reporting how their Mayor could not spell “Eagles” as she tried to show her loyalty to the city’s NFL franchise. She shouted out the chant and spelled it “E-L-G-S-E-S.”

The reason I put “professional” in quotation marks above is because people in glass houses should not throw stones. Did you notice how the “professionals” at Channel 10 misspelled “Angeles” as “Angles?!” Or did they do that on purpose—in which case I apologize. LOL! 😎
My point is that Philadelphia is without doubt the preeminent city in America associated with the birth of our nation. The football team is called the Eagles, most certainly because of its association with the choice of the bald eagle for our Great Seal and hence, the eagle is the symbol of the United States of America.
Now consider this. On Thursday last week POTUS addressed the gathering of some of the key players in the cabal in Davos, Switzerland where the World Economic Forum (WEF) was holding their annual meeting.
Incidentally, would you agree that WEF head honcho Klaus Schwab is the central casting version of the prototypical Nazi? …in combination with Darth Vader?
Let’s look at the timing of these events. When DJT addressed the WEF virtually, the sole symbol in the background during Trump’s speech was what looked like a wood carving of the Presidential Seal. It may not have been wood, but it appeared that way to this writer. Notice the eagle on the seal.

Next, the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles were going to be in the NFC championship game, which they won decisively on Sunday, over the Washington Commanders, which puts the Eagles in the Super Bowl vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.
Factor in the video of the Philadelphia Mayor’s goof with the video clip going viral and therefore it adds to America’s (and the world’s) attention to the eagle.
The biblical symbolism in our great seal (and by extension, the presidential seal) is overwhelming. By not merely biblical symbolism, but it is a hidden picture of America as latter-day Israel; the place of the regathering of all 13 tribes.
We do not have time to document all that today, but we can recommend a wonderful book which does so. It is called Our Great Seal: The Symbols of Our Heritage and Our Destiny by the late Bible Archeologist E. Raymond Capt, who was a personal friend of mine.

Notice the eagle in our Great Seal on the book cover. In addition to our national Great Seal, there is a separate Presidential Seal. Have you heard of the Resolute Desk? Many presidents have used it since 1880.

The desk originally had a kneehole, a space in the center, but President Franklin D. Roosevelt requested the kneehole be fitted with a modesty panel with the Seal of the President carved on it. (He preferred people not see his leg braces and often placed a waste basket in front of his desks.)
FDR did not live to see the new panel installed, but Harry Truman liked the eagle motif and had it installed when he became President in 1945.
NOTE: The Seal of the President carved on the Resolute desk shows the eagle facing the bundle of arrows in its left talon (Emphasis mine). President Truman changed the design in 1945, so the eagle faces the olive branch in its right talon, as it has always done on the Great Seal. END QUOTE
In fact, the photo behind DJT looks exactly like the earlier carving on the Resolute Desk, i.e., before Truman replaced it. Compare the direction the eagle is facing on the carving with the eagle in the Presidential Seal on the podium from which Trump is speaking.
The olive branch has always stood for peace (since the days of Noah sending forth the dove!) The arrows symbolize war.
All of the above discussion concerning the Presidential Seal leads to the coms conclusion that Trump is sending a message to WEF international cabal and deep state: We are ready for war! And add to that the recent A.I.-generated meme that Trump released on his Truth Social platform yesterday.

And then, late Friday night, the Senate (with the help of J.D. Vance casting the tie-breaking vote) confirmed Pete Hegseth as the new Secretary of Defense. All of the cabal, along with their lackeys in the deep state in D.C. are well aware that it will not be business as usual with Hegseth as SecDef. He is going to shake things up.
He will eliminate the DEI insanity instantly, begin rebuilding the morale, the manpower, and the armaments of our armed forces. He will fire numerous higher-ranking officers that are not suitable for their jobs by reason of their performances. In short, he will quickly turn the U. S. military into the world’s best fighting forces.
Pete Hegseth is in agreement with the Commander-in-Chief (CIC) that all these changes are being done so that our sole superpower weaponry and military will not have to be used. It is the “peace through strength” philosophy.
Despite some admitted serious mistakes in his personal life, Hegseth appears to be now an outspoken Christian. (I ask my fellow Christians: Do we believe in repentance and conversion or do we not?)
Let us pray for SecDef Hegseth and for our CIC, President Donald J. Trump!
