As often happens, my plans to write on a particular topic get delayed as current events overtake (and often seem to overwhelm) us. Not complaining; just explaining.
Surely all our readers have heard of the opening ceremonies of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Yesterday, one of my sibling brothers, sent the following observation and plea to all us sibs:
“Wow! I just saw where the super woke opening ceremonies at the Olympics last night made fun of the last supper by using all drag queens. A real slap in the face to the over two billion Christians worldwide.
There are now some companies pulling their advertising from the Olympics. I refuse to watch one minute of the Olympics this year. I hope you all will join me in this boycott.”
One of our sister siblings responded: “Wow, brother, I had not heard that! So outrageous! This world is going to HE double hockey sticks!!!”
[My emphasis. Looks like a Siri dictation error. Have not heard back from sis to get the correction. Oh…duh…she just called back and said, It’s not a mistake. Have you never heard of that, James? HE double hockey sticks; then it dawned on me; HELL. Yeah, I’d seen that once or twice years ago.
My excuse for being a little slow on the uptake is that it is early in the week, and … wait a minute, that’s no excuse. That sounds like a politician or bureaucrat taking “full responsibility” for their misdeeds and then nothing happens. So I take full responsibility for my stupidity on that. And I’ll sit in the (hockey) penalty box for two minutes. 😁]
Sis continued: “Spiritual forces of darkness are running rampant! God will only stand for so much! Time for me to get down on my knees again!”
And another sister sib replied, “I just heard that, too! Sad for the Olympians, but I too will not give them one moment of my eyeballs!”
A third sister sib jumped into the sibling thread of texts with, “I agree, so sick!”
I have not responded to my brother in the sibling circle texting thread, but he usually reads my Mighty Network blogs, so yes, bro, I likewise will not help boost their ratings one iota.
This all reminds me of what was a frequent refrain by my late friend, Col. Jack Mohr, in many of the public speaking engagements I arranged for him.

He used to say something to this effect: “The way America is going, if God does not destroy America, He will owe an apology to Sodom and Gomorrah.” He was making that woeful lament back in the late 1970s!
Since then, our once-God-blessed nation has only continued to slide into the sewer culturally, spiritually, economically, educationally, militarily, and on and on in every facet of our society.
Indeed, the blasphemous depiction mocking Da Vinci’s famous painting of the last supper is a “slap in the face,” as my brother stated. It is a perfectly-timed slap from our Father to awaken Sleeping Beauty (true Christian Israel) out of her woke-induced trance. To repeat from recent blogs: Nessun Dorma. “Let no one sleep.”

From the little bit we have taken the time to read about the Olympic opening ceremony, it also included what seemed to be a clear reference to the pale horse in Revelation, chapter 6.
As one writer on X put it: “The 2024 Olympics has the Occult Anti-Christ symbolism on full display Even the pale horse walking on water is a clear symbol of the Anti-Christ counterfeiting Jesus Christ walking on water…” Here is the referenced verse:
Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
This is not the time to launch into an exposition of the prophecies of the book of Revelation, but just as food for thought, the word “pale” there is from the Greek word chloros {khlo-ros’} which means green or yellowish pale.
One could think of chlorine gas (“mustard gas”) which was used in the horrendous trench warfare of World War I (1914-1918), and surely death and hell (the grave) followed for many soldiers involved in the trench warfare. And where was that poisonous gas and trench warfare? Mostly in France! …along with Belgium, Flanders, and other countries.
However, we would not stretch that prophetic link too far since the context of the Bible uses that word only four times and all three of the other occasions refer to common green grass, such as in the Lord’s command to have the people seated to hear his teachings.
Mark 6:39 And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green (chloros) grass.
So instead of chlorine, one could also think of the green nutrient found in green plants: chlorophyll. I have a bottle of the tincture in my kitchen cupboard.
Back to the issue du jour. Yes, the opening ceremony in “gay Paree” is an abomination, but is it any worse than the occult and satanic ceremonies which comprise the Super Bowl half time shows every winter in the USA? Those abominations are waxing increasingly blatant as well.
Moreover, observe the new Democrat presidential candidate, VP Kamala Harris, and where she appeared as a guest in kicking off her run for the Oval Office. When America truly awakens, we will en masse rue the day that Kamala appeared on the RuPaul Drag Race.

The story, which appeared in the Gateway Pundit also has photos of Macron and his “wife,” along with a famous photo of the Irish guy, Mr. O’Bama and “Big Mike.” (Apologies to our dear Irish friends for the sake of humor. My own children are part Irish as was Roxanne.) Take a look at those photos.
And remember how Mr. O once referred to his “wife” as “Michael?” Ooops! Or did he do that on purpose? It’s hard to imagine a godly man or even a “good” husband would ever mistakenly do that! It’s not hard to imagine that he did it on purpose to rub it in our faces. Here is the link to this story.
Incidentally, wouldn’t that be a dream ticket for Republicans, Kamala and Big Mike? Or perhaps Kamala and Pete Buttigieg? In any case, we expect the Queen of the Word Salad Bar, Kacklin’ Kamala, will not make it to the Dem ticket for November, but will be replaced after she metaphorically falls on her keister in more public appearances.
So, does God owe an apology for destroying Sodom and Gomorrah? We leave that for you to decide. One thing seems apparent to us. That the iniquity of the modern Canaanites (on a global scale) is nearly complete, or it is already overflowing, consider:
Genesis 15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
(The Amorites were a branch of the Canaanites.) The iniquity of the modern Canaanites suggests to us that the judgment on the world is nigh at hand.
Nessun Dorma. Father, please let this slap in the face to all Christians awaken us all to pray for mercy, and to respond with (lawful) actions, to put on the whole armor of God, to stand up, speak out, and “arise, shake thyself from the dust…” (Isaiah 52:2)
Stand up for righteousness (defined as God’s law), speak out and be involved in your local community. Be not among the five foolish virgins who awaken only to find they have no oil in their lamps.
