This will be the last blog until perhaps next Monday. I have a lot going on next Monday, but I hope to get one posted then.
Meanwhile, we have much to be thankful for on this special Thursday in 2024. For me personally I am grateful to our Almighty Father and King Jesus for sparing my life and that of everyone I know here in the area. The HHH (Hellish Hurricane Hellene) was a major catastrophe in this area and there were quite a few lives lost. We may never have a fully accurate count.
We have gotten acquainted with one of our neighbors in this office building and last week she shared with us that her husband’s best friend had come down from Pennsylvania to help take down some trees that had come close to hitting their house.
Sadly, he lost his footing and fell out of a tree in their back yard and was killed! Please pray for comfort for his family in Pennsylvania and for the family of our neighbor.
Clean-up and restoration work continues throughout the region. I am way behind in opening mail as I try to get back on my regular schedule of preparing and delivering a lecture every month for our SKFellowships in Tennessee and Georgia, sending the audio out to our CD Ministry. Currently, I am in the midst of getting the December Feed My Sheep off to the printer, and other tasks. So, the mail had to wait.
However, at this season of thanksgiving, I do express my earnest appreciation for all of you who faithfully support our work throughout the year. And to those of you who are able to send a bit extra to help me recover from the damage to my house, I offer my heartfelt gratitude.
The HHH was a real wake-up call, hopefully, to all the nation about being prepared for emergency situations. Hence, our blog yesterday was about exactly that—which just happened to feature my former in-laws whom I still affectionately refer to as my “in-laws.” After all, I have a quiver full of granddaughters from that relationship.
And in line with preparedness for any of numerous possible scenarios, I will remind our listeners and readers that Mr. 107 has been saying for a long time (over a year at least), that before this is over, America is going to have a near-death experience, not unlike the Cuban missile crises of 1962. It seems to be on the brink.
Anyone who is paying attention to the Russia-Ukraine situation realizes that “our” President Faux Joe Biten, has purposely escalated the conflict there and that a nuclear conflict could happen at any time. A few days ago, one former general from the Ukraine warned that WWW III has just begun. We hope everyone has your potassium iodate (KIO3) on hand!
