We have a multitude of great reasons to be thankful to our heavenly Father today, so let us humbly give Him thanks. And let us rejoice and be glad! This is one of the frequent refrains in Scripture. Here are a few of the many. Be wise and consider. Emphasis mine.
Psalm 14:7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the [Yahweh] bringeth back [turns back, releases] the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
1 Chronicles 16:31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD [Yahweh] reigneth.
Proverbs 24:17 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: [Okay, that’s a bit more difficult, isn’t it?]
Isaiah 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD [Yahweh]; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation [Hebrew: Yahshua, = Jesus].
Joel 2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD [Yahweh] will do great things.
Zephaniah 3:14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of [New] Jerusalem.
God has wrought a great victory for us in Christian-Israel in America! Let us celebrate today! But let us also keep our prayers ascending for His continuing protection on all the victors and for America at large. Amen? Amen. Hallelu-Yah!
