As we continue explaining the rise of the Stone Kingdom in America, we are showing the fulfillment of certain prophecies in America. We left off in Micah 4, verse 9, having just discussed Jesus as King in America. We move to the next phrase in that verse, concerning Jesus as our Counsellor.
Micah 4:9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished?
If you ever sang along with Handel’s magnificent oratorio Messiah, then you know this verse from Isaiah 9, verse 6:
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
That is one of numerous Old Testament prophecies about our King, the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the embodiment of God the Father. He is our counsellor, nationally as well as personally. And this prophecy in Micah asks us, end-time Israel, the daughter of Zion, is there no King Jesus anymore in America? Has Jesus, your counsellor, perished?
Well, it certainly appears that our Counsellor has perished in the sense that He has been removed from public life in our society. This spells big trouble for us, the daughter of Zion. In fact, Micah goes on to describe this as birth pangs!
Micah 4:9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; …
Pause there. This is a fine example of a prophecy with at least a dual fulfillment. Micah lived in the 8th century B.C., even before the Assyrian Captivity of ten-tribed Israel. This particular prophecy was fulfilled the first time when Nebuchadnezzar conquered the old city of Jerusalem in 604-586 B.C.
But it also applies to our era. America is the prophetic city of New Jerusalem—once again, I repeat, the Kingdom, New Jerusalem, America has not yet reached its zenith, its full potential, its perfection. It is in embryonic form. It is still in utero, a perfectly appropriate metaphor as we interpret verse 10 in the following manner:
America is in trouble, like a woman in labor. She has gone forth out of the city. In other words, we, as a once Christian nation, have metaphorically departed from the city of New Jerusalem. We have dwelt in the field. The field symbolizes the world.
We are being leveled down economically and morally to be on the same level as the rest of the world, and they are trying to diminish us until we are as equally poverty-stricken and morally-lost as the third world nations.
And we have gone to Babylon. We were not carried away and deported as captives to some other physical city, as happened in old Israel and Judah; but this time the Babylonians have come here, to America and have captured us through the power of money. We were taken captive by Mystery Babylon formally on December 23, 1913 with the passage of the Federal Reserve Act.
The American people were led to believe that the Fed was a government entity when in reality it is a private corporation owned by families of international bankers. I said we were formally captured in 1913.
The financial powers, however, had been attempting ever since the days of the Founding Fathers to enslave us economically. I am speaking of Alexander Hamilton, of course, who was an agent of the international banking house of Rothschild, which itself was then just getting off the ground.
And so, we have “gone to Babylon,” and we have been there for almost a century (and now in 2020, over a century). But the good news is in verse 10 as well, because it tells us that we are going to be redeemed.
Micah 4:10: and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there [in other words, while we are yet under the thumb of Mystery Babylon] there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD [Yahweh] shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
That, my friends, is not talking about the kind of redemption that most Christians picture, of going to heaven when you die. It is talking about being redeemed from our economic enslavement to the power of Mystery Babylon here in America.
And notice, it says “there shalt thou be delivered.” In one sense, that is a repetition of the phrase that follows, but in the context, it is talking about a woman’s labor and delivery.
Therefore she, end-time Israel, is in captivity to Mystery Babylon, and she is in labor to bring forth …what? Well, several different terms fit the bill, and they are all related. She is laboring to bring forth the Kingdom, and the man-child, that is, the manifested sons of God—a corporate company of overcomers!
You see, the Kingdom in its fulness and perfection cannot happen until Babylon falls, and until the manifestation of the sons of God. That term refers to the first resurrection, the barley harvest, the first fulfillment of Tabernacles, when the overcomers of ages past and the living overcomers are manifested in immortal bodies.
And thence being incorruptible by sin, they will, under the Kingship of Jesus Christ, commence the full manifestation of the Stone Kingdom, ultimately ruling in righteousness over the entire globe. I am looking forward to global government, aren’t you?
At this point, I want to segue to a topic I mentioned both in the previous lecture and also a few lectures back and which I told you I would discuss further later.
This concerns that phrase “the kingdom of heaven.” First, remember how I showed you how the primary and foremost teaching of Jesus was about the kingdom, not about personal salvation, per se. It was about the kingdom, i.e., national salvation.
You have heard me state and make the case that America is the Stone Kingdom—and I have much more to add—but at this juncture, I want to address the name America itself. In my files, I found an article called “America’s Providential Name.”
I had written this essay almost 30 years ago, but I don’t think that I ever published it. So here it is:
“As schoolchildren, most Americans were taught that the New World was named for an individual named Amerigo Vespucci, a Florentine explorer and contemporary of Christopher Columbus. In fact, Vespucci was a vain self-promoter and an agent of the international banking House of Medici.
“In 1495, acting for the Medici’s, he was commissioned to outfit twelve ships for the Spanish crown for another voyage to the New World. For the next ten years, Vespucci claimed in his profuse writings to have made numerous voyages of exploration of both new continents.
His accounts, however, are so fraught with inconsistencies and near impossibilities, that scholars question how much he really did explore. (For example, one journey puts him near the south pole.)
“His writings, however, excited the imagination of a German cosmography professor named Martin Waldseemuller. In his New Introduction to Cosmography (1597), Waldseemuller proposed: ‘I do not know of any law that would forbid that the land discovered by Amerigo, a man of great wisdom and intelligence, be given his name; and since Europe, Asia and Africa have feminine names, let Amerigo’s land be called America.’
“As in so many other aspects of the Greater Promised Land (for example, in heraldry), man usually unknowingly carries out God’s plan. It is now clear that what was initially a result of the vanity of an international bankers’ agent was in fact another master stroke of God’s providence.
“The book, America’s Hope, reports that Professor Miskovsky of Oberlin College in Ohio, states that the word ‘America’ is but another form of the ancient Gothic words ‘Amel’ and ‘Ric;’ in German, ‘Emerich,’ and in modern German ‘Himmelreich,’ and the meaning is: ‘kingdom of heaven!’
“A further irony of the name is that for a half century after Columbus, the name America applied only to the southern continent, with North America being represented as a vast peninsular appendage to Asia.
“Now in the 20th century, as the hidden meaning of ‘America’ is becoming known, we find that when ‘America’ is mentioned anywhere in the world, it refers almost exclusively to the U.S.A., and to some extent, to Canada; that is, to the land of regathered Israelites, the saints to whom the land was promised. Good morning, America! It is time to awaken from your centuries of slumber to the truth of who you are.” End of my article from about 1991.
To add to that, I heard somewhere in the past year or so that the ancient Chinese name for America also translated loosely to “the kingdom of heaven.” I do not have the documentation for that at hand, so if someone could provide it, I would be very grateful.
Now I know that one of the first objections someone will set forth is: “Well, if America is the Stone Kingdom in particular and the kingdom of heaven in general, how can you reconcile that teaching with the fact that Paul tells us very clearly in 1 Corinthians that that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom?”
Good question, and we will pick up at this point in the next installment.
