Yes, this is the day! Psalm 118 is a song of victory. We will keep it brief today as we celebrate this great day of victory. The news broke shortly after 10 this morning that the United States Supreme Court had overturned the infamous Roe vs. Wade decision which legalized abortion in America. It occurred on January 22, 1973.
In the interim, there have been over 60 million babies murdered in the womb in America. It is only now becoming more widely known that this holocaust was indeed part of the secret ritual of Baal-Isis-Molech/Moloch worship dressed up in 20th and 21st century garb.
This death cult has now had their human sacrifice ritual denied on the national level. The decision to allow it returns now to the state level, where it Constitutionally belongs. So, while we realize that this does not outlaw abortion across the land, we should celebrate today for this step in the right direction.
It is the initial victory in what we expect will be many more as Christians are now motivated to become activists at their local and state levesl to ensure that this heathen abomination is outlawed in their states.
Can someone explain to me why all the pundits and commentators are saying 50 years since Roe vs. Wade? Unless I totally forgot my arithmetic skills, it seems to me to be 49 years, 5 months and 2 days—49 years for short, not 50.
We recall that it was in the Bible, the law of jubilee is declared in the 49th year (Leviticus 25:8), and the 50th year was when the declaration went into effect. It was a year of release from bondage and debt.
Today we have just witnessed a type of declaration of jubilee in that millions of babies in the womb will now have their right to life protected (in the states which do so).
Millions have been released from sentences of death by abortion. Liberty to the captives (in the womb). It was inscribed on our Liberty Bell: “…and proclaim liberty throughout all the land [the USA] unto all the inhabitants thereof” (Leviticus 25:10). The Supreme Court did that today! This is just the beginning of what will be years of battles at the local and state levels.
God has heard the prayers of millions of Christians spanning nearly half a century for this unspeakable horror to be removed from this once godly nation (i.e., relatively godly). His mercy does endure forever!
Psalm 118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD {Yahweh}; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD {Yahweh} hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
