We have learned several things today:
The first block of rooms is sold out. The GKM team is making contact with the Hilton Garden Inn to reserve another block. We will advise when that has been opened up for us at the Contract Rate of $104 per night plus tax.
For those of us who are planning on coming in earlier than Thursday, October 12th or checking out later than October 16th, inquiries are being made in order to receive the same room rate for those situations.
Due to the wording in the Contract, when you call them to reserve a room, mention the event as the “Fall Feast of Tabernacles Conference,” or even simply the “Feast of Tabernacles” conference. Apparently, asking for the “God’s Kingdom Ministries” conference caused some initial confusion. (I guess it depends on who answers the phone at the Garden Inn.)
We encourage you to make your reservation ASAP (as soon as we confirm a new block of rooms has been allocated). Time is growing short. The cut-off date for getting the special room rate is August 29th. After that it could be higher (like $173/night plus tax)! Telephone their personal reservation line at 605-791-9034 on Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Mountain Time, or leave message for a call back. An alternate number is 605-791-9000. Either one will probably work.
Invited speakers thus far: Rob Corry (from Pennsylvania), Mark Eaton (from Texas), and of course, host Dr. Stephen Jones of GKM, Minnesota, and myself of SKM.

Fountain Springs Golf Course and the Journey Museum and Gardens are both about a 10 minute drive from this hotel. The historic Mount Rushmore is 27.5 miles away.
I [Dr. Jones] have not checked to see about restaurants in the area, but I am quite sure there are many choices. Rapid City has a population of 80,000.
Conference Dates:
October 13-15, 2023
The conference will open at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 13. The first speaker will be at 9:30. The conference will close late afternoon on Sunday, October 15. The afternoon session will not be planned out, but we will see what direction the Holy Spirit leads.
Rooms and Reservations:
The Hotel is smoke free. No covid restrictions.
Room cost: $104 + tax (ask about singles/doubles)

Check in at 3pm; check-out time is Noon.
In the conference room, water and coffee will be provided by the hotel.
Travel Arrangements:
Rapid City has a regional airport. There are free shuttle services to the hotel back and forth from the airport.
If you choose to drive, the hotel is just off Interstate 90, which ought to be easy to find. Take exit 59 or 60 at North Lacrosse St. Go north to E. Mall Street and turn right (east).
